Yes, D.Y Patil college of Engineering and Technology is the best choice for the B Tech aspirants. But still it varies individual to individual. It depends on what you're expecting from your college. If you're looking for a perfect research environment this college is not for you. If we talk about faculties, then faculty members are well qualified 60% of them are Ph.D. holders. Regular classes will take place. The College infrastructure is very good for technical students. From the last semester of the course, students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. The average salary will be 6laks/ pa.Basically, students need a good faculty and better placement opportunities. Both are available in this college. So in my opinion it is best for BTech student.

To apply for BTech, the applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements: Candidates must pass their 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognised institution. They must have majored in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in high school. The cutoff marks are decided on a number of factors such as the total number of applicants for the exam, previous years’ cutoff marks, the number of seats available for admission, cutoff marks set by the particular college, and the difficulty level of the question papers. The overall cutoff for MHT CET is 67.71 - 93.54 percentile. If you score in between, the chances of getting admission to the BTech course will be high.
