The eligibility criteria for admission to JSS College of Pharmacy Mysore for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) is:
- Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognised as equivalent to 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually.
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
- The student should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the program.
- Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognised as equivalent to 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and/or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually.
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
- The student should have completed 17 years of age on the date of admission or should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the program.

The college is strict when it comes to eligibility requirements for the Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) course at Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar. The candidate should have an MBBS degree from an institution recognised by the National Medical Council of India/Medical Council of India, completion of internship, and permanent registration with the National Medical Council of India/Medical Council of India/State Medical Council. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of one year experience in a registered factory, mine, dock work, construction work, or plantation work under the respective statutes, or two years working experience in hospitals, including self-practice. The period spent on higher studies after completion of MBBS degree and internship with registration to Medical Council of India/State Medical Council shall be considered as equivalent to self-practice for fulfilling eligibility criteria for admission to AFIH Course.
