Only a few branches like CSE, IT, and ECE can get good placements whereas there are somewhat low placements for other branches as compared to these branches.

Dissatisfied with the placement fee on campus for students, even after they pay the college fee.
Placements: I found that most students search for internships and jobs, but due to a lack of better curriculum practice in coding, most of them fail. We, students, lack coding skills because we fail to practice daily and revise the concepts daily, but college provides various opportunities via placements.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities, a lab, and a bad network, and there is a sports period for stress relief once a week. It has a good boys and girls hostel, and boys have various facilities like a gym and playground to play, and have good food and a canteen.
Faculty: Teachers teach the concepts well, but students aren't able do application of concepts. Faculty members are teaching well by using old PPTs. They teach an outdated syllabus. We have more Ph.D. professors in our college, and various faculty members have high experience.
Other: Our college provides better connectivity with Alumni.

Fruitful information about this college(2020-24) that we should know before taking admission.
Placements: ME students have a placement rate of around 80 percent as design engineers, production engineers, and quality engineers. Companies that visit the college are limited, like Bosch, Foxconn, Wipro, and Tata. In 2024, the highest package offered by Foxconn is 23 LPA for the role of CNC consultancy. The average package offered is 7 LPA. It arranges paid internships for students. Non-core companies like Cognizant, Amazon, and TCS hire ME students with a low package. In this college, we will have a chance to publish a research paper under our names, which will add to our resumes. 7 CGPA is the minimum CGPA to be eligible for placements.
Infrastructure: Several machines are available for the ME branch, such as CNC turning, CNC milling machines, thermal power stations, etc. Wi-Fi is not needed for ME. The whole campus is facilitated with Wi-Fi. There is a large library which has more than 10,000 books. IEEE and ASME access are being provided by the college. In the hostel, each student gets their own bed, table, chair, cupboard, and we can choose an AC room as well. Mess food is decent, but food courts are accessible within walking distance. Medical facilities are available inside the campus, but there are not many sports options here.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. They are from NITs and IITs. They are PhD holders. They also involve themselves in research work and help students to get funding for their research papers. Subjects like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfers, and for design purposes, software like Mastercam, CREO, ANSYS, and CAD are being taught as core and fundamentals topics. The course curriculum is really helpful for the industry. Exams are quite difficult, but 90 percent of students clear exams on their first attempt. Sometimes, the question level resembles IITs. The college organises workshops and industrial visits every year.
Other: I chose this college because of its placement rate. There are also some demerits, like high fees, which are like 1.5 lakhs for tuition, 1.5 lakhs for hostel, but as they charge, their infrastructure is standard. Scholarships are available from the government TS EAMCET, as well as from the college, on a merit basis. We can get admission through the management quota or EAMCET exam, and the cutoff is around Rs. 40,000. Campus life is not so fantastic, but 1 cultural fest is organised by students club every year. Other technical fests are also organised. The college should bring more core companies to the ME branch.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2027

Good placements and a helpful facility. Decent campus life with strong job options.
Placements: Placements in our batch are good, with around 70 percent of students getting placed through campus drives. The average package of our college is 5 to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, PwC, JP Morgan, and Cognizant. Top roles offered in my course are cybersecurity analyst and security Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is modern and well maintained with facilities such as smart classrooms, dedicated computer labs, Wi-Fi, a department library, and seminar halls. The campus is clean and spacious with greenery. The hostel facility is satisfactory with average mess food but hygienic and there are sports facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members in this course are qualified and supportive. Most teachers have a good command of their subjects and are helpful in clearing the doubts. The curriculum is JNTU affiliated curriculum, with theory and practical lab sessions. Semester exams are moderately difficult but scoring is possible with good preparation.

It will be a great college, if given more freedom to students.
Placements: Mostly 70 to 80 percent of students got placed in the passing out batch. The highest package is not listed anywhere but the off campus one is 72LPA and is displayed in website. We get around 33 LPA the highest and 3.5 LPA the lowest. Commvault and Oracle are top package and Infosys and Cognizant are for mass hiring. Usually, internships are offered in the 4th year only and one student got in JPMC from the third year. The top roles offered are Software Development or Testing roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty new in all the labs except for some labs, which have older computers. The Ethernet works fine but the Wi-Fi is slow. There is a large library with a wide selection of available books. The hostel is good, and the food provided is decent. We have a large cricket ground but it is not used very often. We have a small indoor sports area with table tennis tables. There is one basketball court and a place to play volleyball and football. A new Auditorium is being constructed.
Faculty: Apart from a few teachers all are well qualified teachers with a great grip on the subject. The course curriculum is new and relevant but very slow according to industry standards, which need to include more advanced topics. The semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is above 80 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in programming and computers. Building new software is interesting. I wish there is industry level training from 1st year only rather than at the time of placements. The campus is far from the city and there is nothing interesting to hang out in the surroundings of the college. The college conducts events only once a year and annually. Fest is only once every two years. There are very few extracurricular activities and one cannot even do other activities while classes are going on. Very few holidays are provided and saturdays are working days. Any sudden holidays are compensated on other days. Even on Sunday.

Not much worth for this huge amount of money.
Placements: Placements are average at best. They are not up to the mark, going down batch by batch, which may result in a drop in the college ranking among various campuses as a result of competition. So, looking forward to getting more placements placed is better.
Infrastructure: The hostel is the worst ever. It is a nightmare. The food is eww, and we don't need to talk about it because it is a waste of time. Can't even go for a pleasurable wash time in the morning. It's the worst thing in the whole hostel combined, and the public toilets are too few in number.
Faculty: Regarding faculty, they are giving their best in each and every class. There is no issue with the faculty. They do try their best, but a few of them are PPT readers only, which is the biggest drawback of the whole college. Students fail to grasp the content.

Good college with good placements.
Placements: Placements are good in CVR College of Engineering. Companies like Oracle, Capgemini, and other service-based and product-based companies come to the college to hire. Generally, they hire for roles like data analyst, software developer, web developer, etc. This year, the highest package of our college is 72 LPA.
Infrastructure: In this college, we have facilities like AC labs, Wi-Fi-enabled campus, cricket ground, library, health center, sports complex, etc. The quality of these facilities is good, and the food in the hostel mess and canteen is also good, tasty, and hygienic. Every year, the college conducts EPL, which stands for Engineering Premiere League.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They regularly interact with students and help them work on their weaknesses. The curriculum in CS is industry-relevant and helps you get ready for a job. The pass percentage of this college is more than 90 percent.
Other: Nowadays, software jobs are high-paying, so I chose this course. This course covers all the curriculum that you need and makes you ready for a job. Every year, we have one event where we celebrate annual day and traditional day. For 2 years, we have an event named Ciencia.
