No, under scrutiny, means that the authorities have received your application form and currently verifying the details. If there is some discrepancy, then you will be notified on your registered details.

What is the meaning of “GATE 2026 Application Under Scrutiny”?
After the submission of the application form, students can check their status at candidate login page. The GATE application under scrutiny states that your application status. During this stage, the authorities will cross-check all the information given by applicants, such as personal, educational qualifications, photo, signature, etc.
The verification authorities will check whether the GATE documents are uploaded as per the specifications prescribed. It must be noted that under scrutiny does not necessarily mean that your GATE 2026 registration form is rejected. It states that it is under the process of verification.
