Best affordable college in Pune.
Placements: My course is B.A. LL.B. In my batch approximately 200 students are there. The highest package can be above 12 LPA and the lowest around 7 LPA. Reddy and Reddy, Desai and Diwanji, AB and Partners, and others are involved. Legal assistant, Paralegal, Junior Advocate, and other roles are offered by the course. Additionally, other government jobs are also open for the students, and the option of a master's degree is also available.
Infrastructure: The classroom strength is around 70 students per class. The classrooms are good, with nice lighting and ventilation. Electronic class boards are available. I don't live in the hostel, so I don't know about that. The mess food is very good, tasty, and also available to people not from college, and it is very affordable. There is a separate sports department that conducts sports competitions, encourages students to participate, and also trains them.
Faculty: Teachers are very nice and friendly. They are also well qualified. They teach us with different techniques for deeper understanding. The curriculum is very good and prepares the students for real-world problems. The passing percentage is good, and semester exams are conducted by the university, so students have to prepare well. By studying and understanding the concepts, the exams can be easily passed.
Other: I chose arts in the 12th boards, so it was very easy for me to opt for the B.A. LL.B. course. I have been interested in law as a subject since my childhood. The crowd is good as the cutoff is generally very high, and only qualified individuals are given admission. The college is situated in a very well-known place, which is in Fergusson College campus.

A bit disappointed because of the mismanagement, as students have to face the result.
Placements: The placement is not above average, but decent. The majority of students secure their own placements. Maintaining senior connections can help you a lot. The average package stands between 6 LPA and 8 LPA. However, the highest package is about 18 LPA-20 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Fergusson College is one of the most prestigious colleges in Pune. It is known for its academic excellence and a huge campus. However, the infrastructure for law is quite limited, it is a three-story building for all year students. The hostel facilities are affordable, but the only problem is the limited seating.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified in their own field, and even during the admission process, they are very cooperative and helpful. There are a total of 10 semesters for the B.A. LL.B. course. Two exams in a year. Various activities such as moot court competition, debates, and legal aid make a law student ready for the industry. The score of the exam is given on the basis of the quality of your answers rather than quantity.
Other: One thing that I really admire is the fact that there are many activities going on so that an individual can learn and practice more. Also, every year, a moot competition is held. If you want a good, reputable college with affordable tuition, you may opt for this.

Review of Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College.
Placements: The placement cell of the college is not very good. Only a few students get into campus placements. Firms like Reddy and Reddy are one of the recruiters. Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College also provides internship opportunities to some students. So overall you cannot totally rely on on-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with digital boards and projectors. The library is 10/10 rated and the book collection is relevant to the courses offered. There is a moot court room and an amphitheatre available. The canteen is good but it is often crowded. Hostel is not so good. I would not recommend.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well-qualified and really helpful. Faculty use digital boards and PPTs to teach. The college is affiliated with SPPU so the syllabus is decided by SPPU and the syllabus is slightly irrelevant in my opinion. Especially for the first and second years of B.A. LL.B.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to pursue law after 12th and B.A. LL.B. was a good option. Things I wish were better are the placements of the college and also the syllabus taught at a very fast pace so if you miss some classes, then you are left behind. This could be improved. The college hosts several sports events, fests, and guest lecturers.

One of the best in Pune for Law
Placements: The roles are quite diversified, from due diligence analyst to junior advocate positions to coveted positions in the government sector. All these positions are offered. The companies include Legalogic, internships from Khaitan and Co, High Court, Supreme Court etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite top notch, every needed possible thing at the tip of your finger. From a very resourceful library to smart classrooms, the fee to amenities ratio baffles one. There are also moot court halls, conference halls and sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and well-versed with their subjects and matter. They are Masters and PhDs and also some practicing advocates giving us a better picture of how it works in practicality. All of them are quite friendly making them easier to approach.

Placements: At Des Navalmal Firodia Law College, the placement percentage is 89.4%. The highest salary is 25 LPA. The lowest is 5 LPA. The average is 15 LPA. Recruiters are Khaitan and Co, Luthra and Luthra, AzB and Partners, etc. Internships with roles such as legal researcher, court proceedings and court work are available.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for this college includes Wi-Fi, modern labs, well-equipped classrooms, and an extensive library. The offers good facilities, clean rooms, and balanced food. Additionally, there are amenities such as medical facilities, sports, and games along with a canteen that adds to the overall convenience.
Faculty: Teachers at DES Navalmal Firodia Law College are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, ensuring high teaching quality. The curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a high pass percentage.

It's an average college if you compare it with other colleges in Pune.
Placements: As of 2024, as per hearsay, 9-12 students are placed, and their package is around 8-9 Lacs. The college does offer internships, but there are internal favorites added. Generally, students build their own firm or pick an outside course. Internships under judges and advocates' firms are preferred.
Infrastructure: Remember that the hostel seats available for Firodia students within the Fergusson hostel are disproportionate and rare to occupy. Students rather choose hostels and PGs outside the campus. The infrastructure is rated between 1-3, so it's better to think twice.
Faculty: The faculty keeps changing highly (as of my experience until now, i.e., 2024). No doubt there are a few teachers perfectly fitted in subjects like economics and international law, but the basic subjects are not given prominence, like contract law. There is a strict need for permanent and qualified faculty with minimum experimentation in the college. The semesters are moderately difficult, and students hardly fail. The course is not sufficient for the industry; obviously, it needs some extra courses and certifications.
Other: Do not expect celebrities or big events. The events conducted are below average. The crowd and connectivity are hardly a matter of fact. It's not too inclusive and revolves around a few groups only. Debates, moot courts, and guest lectures are conducted, but only a few students are involved out of the whole batch. It's not compulsory and not taught (unlike what it must be). Annual fests differ every year as per the seniors.
