Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks, or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the B.Ed. program.

Admission is based on merit of the written test/Common Entrance Test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) or designated agencies accepted by the University. The total annual fee for the programme is Rs. 60,000 for pre-service trainees and Rs. 21,000 for in-service trainees. The programme is a two-year regular course based on four semesters, with a curriculum that includes subject knowledge, human development, pedagogical knowledge, and communication skills.
