Decent but not exceptional - A balanced college review.
Placements: College offers decent placement opportunities with moderate salary packages. Most students get placed in service-based companies. Core job offers are limited. Placement support is helpful, but more top recruiters and training are needed for improvement.
Infrastructure: College has average infrastructure with basic facilities like classrooms, labs and a library. Wi-Fi is available but not always reliable. Canteen services are okay. Sports and recreational facilities are limited and need more development. All is good here. Library has a fair collection of academic books, but digital resources are limited. Labs are functional but often lack updated equipment. Students manage, but better maintenance and modernization are needed for effective learning.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable but teaching methods are mostly theoretical. Some professors are helpful and experienced, while others lack engagement. Overall, guidance is decent, but industry exposure and practical learning could be improved. Exams are conducted regularly and follow a standard university pattern. Question papers are mostly predictable. Evaluation is fair, but practical exams often lack proper equipment or focus. More emphasis on concept-based assessment is needed.
Other: Campus life is average with limited cultural and technical events. Student clubs exist but are not very active. Social life depends mostly on peer groups. There is scope for more engagement and extracurricular development.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2024

In short, it is a good college and I will rate it 3.5 out of 5.
Placements: So basically, it is not a college that currently provides any placement opportunities. It only offers Bachelor's degree courses like BBA, and BCA and not Masters's degrees which can open placement opportunities. So if students are planning to take admission to this college, then it won't provide us any placement. A BBA degree can grant some entry-level jobs in Gandhidham like in accountancy, sales, transport, etc., which may require a Bachelor's degree and requisite skills for the job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite decent and right on point needed in a tier 3 college. It is a 2-story building which has a computer lab on the underground floor. It also has a function hall and AV room, and classrooms are equipped with a projector. It also has a medical facility room, library and sports facilities like basketball, cricket and volleyball and amole of card, and 2 wheeler parking lot with 2 entrances. It also has a canteen which is decent one with all the regular on-the-go snacks.
Faculty: The course curriculum is as per the latest course by Gujarat University as books prescribed for studying are recommended by Gujarat University and National Education Policy (NEP). Faculty members are quite good and very well educated with more than 10 years of experience. Examinations are as per affiliation with Kachchh University under which this college DNV educational academy comes. Internal assessment carries 30 marks each per subject of which 20 are for internal exams which are generally objective and MCQ-based and offline exams (we have an online internal examination during the COVID time) and 70 marks for university assessment.
Other: The campus conducts all extracurricular activities like college fest, days festival, and a farewell for the passing batch. It also provides scholarship which has some terms and conditions which we will get to know once we opt for it. It has a quiet and calm campus with good students and staff members.
