Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed this year. The highest salary package offered is 16.5 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs 11,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs 13,500 LPA. The top recruiting companies are John Dear, Lincon Pvt. Ltd, Mahindra, etc. Almost every student gets internships in various companies like DVC, WBSEDCL, and Maithon Thermal Power Plant. The top roles offered are electrician, in charge, and after 1 promotion to head electrician and safety and security engineer.
Infrastructure: This college provides a 5G Wi-Fi campus. Around 30 classrooms are available, and the library is provided with books over 20,000. A cricket tournament is held every year. The hostel facility is good, and the canteen is not available. Mess is for hostel students only. Girls' and boys' hostel facilities are available in this college.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are very good at their job. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. The course is relevant, and they prepare students for industry. Semester exams are moderate, and the passing percentage is 33.33%. Students will get proper guidance during the internal examinations and semester examinations.
Other: I chose this course due to the government vacancies in electrical engineering. The syllabus is very lengthy so it should be reduced.

Placements: About 100% of the students get placed from our course every year. The highest salary package offered is 1.45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies here are John Deere, Mando Automotive, Mando Hall, Rico, Motherson, etc. Approximately 80% of the students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available here. Labs and classrooms were completely furnished. The library was very good and well furnished. The hostel and food quality are not well here. The canteen facility is average, and medical facilities are also average. Sports and games facilities are very good. The mess is available near the college within 1 km distance.
Faculty: Teachers here were very helpful to students who want to learn something new. Their teaching quality is good. Students are a little bit ready for the industry if they learn everything what teacher teach them. Exams are not very difficult because teachers give some suggestions in which a minimum of 2 or 3 questions are asked in exams.
Other: I want to learn everything about a machine, so I chose this course.

It is the best Polytechnic college in Durgapur.
Placements: Around 70% of students were placed in my course.
Suzuki, Tata, etc., companies come here. The lowest package offered is around 70,000, and the highest package in Diploma is around 1.3 Lacs. 75% of students got internships from our course in Suzuki company. Senior engineer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, workshops, library, playground and also a canteen. We get good quality food, water, mess and hostel facilities. They arrange a sports day every year.
Faculty: All the teachers are very intelligent. They teach very well, especially our lab assistant is talented, and his teaching techniques are awesome. Every college needs such a teacher. All the teachers love us. They are good and well-behaved.
Other: I think one thing that needs to improve is the classrooms.

The placements are good depending on your marksheet.
Placements: There are many students in the mechanical stream, about 50% of the students are in the mechanical stream, 30% are in mining, and 20% are in Electrical. The highest package is about ₹1.5 LPA, and the lowest is about ₹10,000, I guess. There are many students who got into different companies such as Tata Steel.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are top-notch. The food quality in the hostel is quite average, but on the last days of every month, the hostel gives a grand party to the students, which is worth the money. There are also sports and games for every student, including cricket and kabaddi, and a sick room with good medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very kind, polite, and have a friendly nature. They are also very helpful. Semester exams are very hard, and the grading system too. I think 35% is the passing percentage. The course curriculum is also relevant. This course also makes the students industry ready.
Other: It’s a good college with excellent teachers and good facilities.

A college with an average infrastructure
Placements: In my course, almost 80 percent of students were placed. The highest package is almost 7.2 LPA and the lowest package is 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Tata, ECL, etc. Most of the students get internships in ECL. Quantity tester, Engineer, and Oil manager are the most offered roles.
Infrastructure: Our college has a computer lab, engineering workshop, projects lab, library, etc. Infrastructure is average. The hostel is more than enough and our hostel has every type of facilities and medical facilities are also quite good. The quality of food is very good and hygienic.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and well-behaved. Almost every teacher in our college behaves well with us. They would also repeat the lecture if someone wasn't able to understand it well. The knowledge we gain from college definitely helps in industrial work. Exams are easy or hard depending on how you study. So, exams are not very difficult in general.
Other: I chose mining engineering because I am interested in it. The best thing about this course is that you get to learn about geographical knowledge, about the area and elements in the soil.

This college is quite good.
Placements: Approximately 60% of students have been placed in the electrical department.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but only for teachers and other staff members. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are also available in this college.
Faculty: Teachers' teaching quality is decent. Some teachers have extensive teaching experience. The exam is a little difficult. The pass percentage is 60.
Other: I choose electrical because of good teacher of this college.
