GIBS Business School (Bangalore) has released the most recent placement figures for the class of 2025 with respect to the latest placement season. In terms of overall numbers, Placement Percentage - The total number of students who received an offer through our final placement drive = 100% of our eligible applicants. the highest Package Offered = ₹16.15 LPA (This figure is based on reports which indicate that packages were as high as approximately ₹20 LPA during the current placement season of 2026). Average Package Offered for the Class of 2025 = Approx. ₹8.2 LPA (Range was between ₹7.8 – 8.2 LPA).

We focus on developing students as leaders by providing a comprehensive range of programs aimed at building the necessary skills for effective leadership. Programs such as the GIBS School of Youth Leadership programme and the GIBS Finishing School Certificate in Personal Mastery develop students' leadership ability through educational training on effective communication, decision-making, confidence building, emotional intelligence, and professional capabilities.At GIBS, creativity and entrepreneurship are fundamental building blocks to nurturing the future business leaders of the world. Through a number of innovation-focused activities, such as innovation projects; entrepreneurship ideas; and research challenges, GIBS students will be encouraged to develop an entrepreneurial way of thinking. Under the conditions established by each candidate's respective entrance exam scores and previous academics, GIBS also takes into consideration communication abilities, confidence, demonstration of leadership ability, and clearly defined career objectives using group discussion and personal interview.Analytical reasoning, problem-solving skills, teamwork, flexible approach to situations, and a positive attitude are also substantial factors in the admission decision at GIBS. Candidates who demonstrate initiative, are willing to learn, and possess good interpersonal relations will receive added consideration. All candidates will be selected not only based upon academic ability as indicated by prior study but on the candidate's mindset and motivation to be successful within the competitive corporate world.

GIBS Business School's campus life has had a profound effect on my educational growth (academically, personally, and professionally). Constant exposure to industry professionals through guest speakers, projects, presentations, leaders, etc., helped build not only my confidence level but my career focus. The current student population provides exposure to many different backgrounds which opened up my mind to new ways of thinking while helping to develop my ability to work as a team and communicate effectively. The discipline of a structured learning process, my working with a mentor, and the environment of practical learning shifted my mindset from simply study the material required for an exam to preparing for the day-to-day challenges faced in the corporate world. Overall, the campus life experience has made me much more responsible, proactive, and clear in my mind about what I want to accomplish long-term.

Students of GIBS Business School participate in internships and live projects which are cross-functional opportunities to gain practical experience in key functional areas (marketing, sales, finance, HR, business development, and operations). Students engage in internships to gain practical exposure by completing real-life tasks for companies (e.g., market research, data analysis, developing a campaign, supporting recruitment, improving operations). Live Project assignments are shorter-term, company-assigned projects in which students work to develop solutions for actual business problems, apply the concepts they learned in class and make direct contact with professionals in their industry. GIBS views all internships and live projects as an integral part of their curriculum; therefore, all students at GIBS consistently gain real-world experience prior to their graduation and are ready for placement by the beginning of their final semester.

GIBS School of Business operates under a disciplined and professional academic framework. As such, attendance, discipline and classroom participation are taken very seriously. Students are required to be present every week as classes consist largely of the students interacting with each other through discussion on case studies, presentations and real-life projects. All students must maintain a professional demeanor while on campus, including arriving on time, following correct etiquette in class and adhering to all academic policies. In addition to being supportive in nature, the disciplinary aspect allows for an open flow of ideas and questions from faculty and students alike and is encouraged. Class participation is emphasized at GIBS as it provides an opportunity for students to have their voices heard, collaborate as part of a team and engage in the process of learning through debating and presenting, which creates a sense of belonging, confidence, leadership qualities and ultimately prepares them for their future careers.

Students will be assisted by the placement team and faculty in finding appropriate career paths in analytics, finance, human resources, operations, research, back-end consulting or corporate support functions where communication skills are crucial but aggressive sales techniques are not required. Mock interviews, aptitude training, resume development, domain-based skill development and one-to-one mentoring will help students to gain confidence at their own pace and develop industry-specific skills. By interacting with industry professionals regularly, working on real-life projects and having access to internships, students have the opportunity to expose themselves to real-world experience in a low-pressure environment. Mentors provide continuous encouragement and support to help students overcome their self-doubt. The support system provided to students ensures that they will be placement-ready and placed into positions that align with their personalities and strengths.
