Field Marshal K.M. Cariappa College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

M.A.Candidates who have studied English as either the first or second Language at the graduate degree level for not less than two years/four semesters and candidates who have studied Additional English of Mangalore University for not less than two years/four semesters are also eligible to apply provided such applicants have scored not less than 60% marks in aggregate in the examination of the subject. The marks scored in the English First or Second language examinations or Additional English examinations would be equated with the marks of optional English (the cognate subject) as follows:1. 60% in English First or Second Language to 45% ofoptional English (the cognate subject).2. 60% in additional English is equal to 48% of optionalEnglish (the cognate subject
B.A.Candidate have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
M.Sc.Candidates who have passed the three year B.Sc. degree examination of Mangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto with Physics as major /optional/ special subject are eligible for the programme provided they have studied Mathematics as major/optional/special/minor/subsidiary subject for at least two years and secured a minimum of mentionedmarks in Physics and Mathematics.
M.ComCandidate must have B.Com/B.B.M or equivalent with mentioned marks in the aggregate in commerce subjects from any recognised university.
BCACandidate have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
BSWCandidate have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
B.ComCandidate have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
BBACandidate have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
PG DiplomaCandidate must have completed B.Com/B.A./B.B.M/B.B.S/BTA/BIAS/BHM/BCA/B.E/MBBS degree or equaivalent with mentioned marks from any recognised university.
CertificateCandidates who have passed the two year Pre University examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examinations considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible.
UG DiplomaCandidates who have passed the two year Pre-University examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examinations considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible or candidates who have passed Certificate Programme in Kodava are also eligible.
B.Sc.Candidate must have passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply.
MBA/PGDMCandidates must have passed Bachelor's degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks (45% of marks in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates). Final year students can also apply on provisional basis.
Q:   What is the scope after qualifying UGC NET?
A: 

This is for the candidates who want to do PhD research or become Assistant professor. However, other career options can be PSUs jobs as well.

The candidates who do not want to join any PSU can take up other options like online tutor, open their own coaching centres, guest faculty, consultant, Lab Trainer, IP lead, Author, Editor, Executive, Program Executive, etc. 

For conclusion we can say that the candidates qualifying for the UGC NET exam can take up any job they want or start their ow business after clearing one of the most the toughest exams in India.

Good and worth the budget!
Placements: Around 70% of students were placed in my course. The top recruiting companies for BCA are Wipro, Infosys, Google, etc. 75–80% of students get internships from our course at top IT companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc. Many highly paid roles offered in our course are application developers, testers, hackers, web creators, etc.
Infrastructure: Many facilities like course analysis, a good department with well-structured labs with sufficient systems, average classrooms, and a good library! Hostel facilities are average, with average mess facilities. 0 stars for medical facilities and 5 stars for sports and games, as our college focuses high on them!
Faculty: We are provided with highly qualified lectures. Compared to other courses, BCA is provided by much better faculty members with strict maintenance and education. The curriculum is relevant, and it does make the student industry-ready with 50% push from their side! Semester exams will be somewhat good as we get all the study materials up to date!
Other: Our batch is the very first to have the highest admission acceptance. I personally chose this course because I am very interested. Everything would be much better if we had no bossy lectures around! Events are organized at the end of each batch period, and each student is equally considered! This is the only college that provides BCA courses with such low charges and high quality!

Somewhat good but not fully recommended!
Placements: BCA is a course with high reccomendation... There is a high lot of job opportunities for this course.. around 70% of students were placed, top recruiting companies which highly focuses on BCA are Wipro, Infosis, Google and many other famous IT sector companies... Many of the students are ongoing with their in companies like Wipro Infosis and Google... The average or top roles offered in this course are application developer, hacker, web developer, tester, IT management etc!
Infrastructure: Compared to all other courses, BCA is given special facilities of utilisation... A good lab with sufficient systems, well area etc In the matter of food and mess i would like to rate 4 stars as it provides good food.. the area is well maintained from recent days... 0 stars for medical facilities and high priority is given for sports!
Faculty: We have qualified teachers where some of them are down to earth with high knowledge and they provide quality education... Would give five stars for the teaching faculties but some of them are too bossy!... The curriculum is somewhat relevant but not perfect... The passing is 40% and the exams are somewhat good!
Other: I personally chose this course as it has high scope and I'M intrested in it!... Priority is given to curricular activities like drawing painting singing sports and many more... Scolarchips are brovided for minority classes and all the other events and fests are organised at the end of each batch period!!
