However, there is no campus placement, and students must try with reputed studios or learn additional skills apart from what is taught at the institute to increase their job prospects.

No, the FTII admit card will not be sent via mail or post. Eligible candidates will receive an email notification to download their admit card from the official FTII recruitment portal. It's mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card to the examination center; digital copies on mobile devices are not accepted.Ensure you also bring a valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Driving License) and two recent passport-sized photographs to the exam hall.

Once the written exam is conducted, students who pass it are called for orientation and interview stages. Interviews and orientation are held for all courses offered at FTII and SRFTI. However, for the screen acting course, students must interview and audition in-person at FTII or SRFTI campuses. For the rest of the courses, interviews and orientations are conducted online.

FTII and SRFTI offer two Direction courses - a 3-year PG Diploma in Direction and Screen Writing and a one-year PG Certificate course in Direction.
