Start with an analysis of whether or not you have what it takes for the film industry. I'm assuming you don't know and forgive me if you do. A lot of people show up for FTII exams thinking it will land them great job prospects in the industry. Well, FTII does not have placements and neither does it help you in finding a job, you're on your own. However, there is a healthy batch of seniors that can always help you out, as much as they can.
What FTII does is concentrate on you, and help you derive your own approach to film-making. FTII is not about literacy where you pass exams and be done with it. It deals with educating yourself into an independent identity. While those concepts might be an impractical approach to real life but then don't join FTII if you're looking to be practical. That place is to learn, make mistakes, challenge yourself and expect nothing in the end. I am grateful and lucky to be a part of it. FTII gave me what film industry will never give me, the freedom to make my own mistakes. That's what education is, in my opinion. I don't even know where I'd be without it. The teachings are still with me when I write a script or direct a scene. I can go on and on about this but will stay on point.

You can start your passion from Theatre, because through that you will get the all the basic and that give your platform to perform in front of real lovers of acting. But, my another suggestion is you should start any Bachelor’s degree like Mass Communication through that you can understand the value of media and you can start doing networking for your acting career, and to cover up your education .You should aim for National school of drama, through that you can achieve your goal and that’s a temple for all the aspiring actors.
