Yes, candidates can take admission in the FIEM BTech course without JEE Mains scores, because the college also accepts valid scores of WBJEE for admission to BTech courses. Therefore, applicants with valid scores in any of the following entrance exams can get admission to BTech courses. Thus, candidates can get admission with JEE Mains; however, it is not compulsory.The college also reserves seats for candidates having scores in different entrance exams. 80% of seats are filled by qualified WBJEE candidates,  10% of seats are filled by qualified JEE (Main) candidates, and 10% of seats are allocated under a Management Quota for candidates with valid WBJEE or JEE (Main) rank cards. 

The eligibility requirement for admission to the BBA in Hospitality Management course at FIEM is almost similar to the general BBA course. Applicants are first required to complete their Class 12 with an aggregate of 50% and must have studied English as one of the main subjects in Higher Senior Secondary. Additionally, candidates must have secured valid scores in the MAKAUT CET. 

To secure a seat in the MBA programme at FIEM, students must apply through the official website of the college, fill out the application form accurately, and pay the application fee. Selection is based on MAT/ WBJEMAT performance. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam, candidates must ensure that they complete their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear at the college for GD/ PI and document verification to confirm admission.

Officially, the recent data on the median packages offered to BTech courses at FIEM has not been released. However, as per the placement reports of the BTech course at FIEM, the median package offered by the college to BTech students was INR 4.5 LPA. For admission to the NSHM Kolkata MBA course, applicants must have secured valid scores in JEMAT/ CAT/ MAT. On the other hand, FIEM accepts MAT/ JEMAT scores.

The institute offers two specialisations in BSc courses- Media Science and Hospitality and Hotel Administration.
