G B Plant Engineering College: Once a renowned technical college, it is slowly turning into runs.
Placements: A very low percentage of students rely on the college placement cell as they offer an average package of around 3 LPA to 6 LPA. But Maruti is the only strong recruiter for otherwise small startups. Last passout batch chose off-campus placement. Many times, roles are not according to your qualifications. Some call centres also recruit from here.
Infrastructure: College doesn't have any hostel & in terms of infrastructure, the fresher batch doesn't have any AICTE approval. Poor maintenance is ruining the labs, as they are conducting experiments on virtual labs. No Wi-Fi, sports & games funds never used, and a poor canteen. The library is well-maintained.
Faculty: Here, faculty members are the only advantage of this college, all are UPSC qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are not very tough, and much of the course curriculum is relevant. Currently, the passing percentage is 40 percent. Teachers here are very helpful.
Other: No fest happened here since 2023. Don't expect much from the campus crowd. Only student and club-funded events happened here at low levels.

This college is a big regret of every student, poor placements, poor campus infrastructure.
Placements: Not very good college in terms of placements as there are companies visiting campus premises for hiring procedures, but most of the companies are coming just to introduce us to their courses and then try to sell them to us with fake promises and conditions required for placement assistance that are impossible to fulfill.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very poor. There have been moments when the roof fell on the ground and luckily no people are present there, but we can never be safe inside. No air-conditioned classrooms, no facilities in terms of water in water coolers and washrooms, equipment are not in working condition and many are not even present, no Wi-Fi facilities. No hostel facility, students outside Delhi have to search for flats on rent and PGs for themselves.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good, but there are many teachers that are there to hold you back. I have seen teachers failing students based on personal grudges. Curriculum which we are provided with is never followed, practical training for hands-on experience on industry equipment is poor as no equipment is as good as they should be. Exam dates are according to the college, the year planner which we are provided with is not followed, timetable changes around 2/3 times in a week. Exams are not very difficult, the pass percentage is around 40 percent.
Other: I chose this course and college under pressure, and there is no best thing about this college. Campus infrastructure should be improved as there is ample space to make buildings and a ground if we go by area, but college still continues with the same poor infrastructure. No events and fests are held in this college, not even freshers and farewell. Campus crowd is average, connectivity through bus and metro is average; you have to travel around 1-1.5 km to reach metro and bus stand. Campus surrounding lacks people and feels deserted. No extracurricular activities; hard to claim scholarships.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placement, infrastructure, facilities of GB Plant Engineering College.
Placements: Placement rate is 1–10 percent. The highest/the lowest/average package: 4 LPA / 2.5 LPA / 3–3.5 LPA (approximately). Top recruiters are mostly mass recruiters (TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro) and smaller IT/local firms. Internship rate and companies: low, around 10–20 percent. Startups, small local companies, or self-sourced. Top roles: trainee engineer, junior developer, system engineer.
Infrastructure: Old, poorly maintained buildings. We have no Wi-Fi. Labs use outdated PCs, but there are sufficient systems for all students. Teachers don’t come to labs at all, chilling in their rooms while students mark attendance and leave. We do not have hostels; even people from other states live in nearby PG's.
Faculty: Teachers often lack industry skills and use old notes. The curriculum is outdated and not industry-ready. Students self-study. Exams are typical University-level tough, designed to increase re-enrollment (backlogs). The pass percentage is typically 70 percent. Exams are not planned through a calendar but taken whenever.

Gb pant government engineering college review.
Placements: Placements of the college are average. Most of the students get placed in Wipro, oracle, TCS and Infosys. Some students are placed in byjus, amazon, rtds hcl, etc. The highest package is 45 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are tcs, Infosys and Wipro. Top role is software developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is poor and the classrooms are average. Wi-Fi is available in the college and the library is average. Labs are good. Hostel is not available in the college. Neither mess nor canteen is available. Good medical facilities are not present. Sports and games are very good.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified and they are knowledgeable. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Faculty is good in behavior. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready. Semester exams are not tough, they are of moderate level and we can easily pass in them. The passing percentage is 40 percent.
Other: I chose ECE because it is a good course for core field as well as IT sector. We have different fests like Inceptym, Samvidhan, Saaher, Aarmbh sports fest, etc. Scholarships are available for sc/st candidates and Delhi government scholarship is also available.
