{Source: BCA students & alumni}Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview:Pros:* Good Infrastructure: The campus is big, with modern classrooms, labs, and amenities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus.* Helpful Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Many students appreciate their guidance and encouragement.* Industry Readiness: The course curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready. Industrial visits are also organized regularly.* Placement Opportunities: Although not excellent, some companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys recruit students. Around 40% of students get placed annually.* Scholarship and Events: Scholarships are available, and LAN events and festivals are organized frequently.Cons:* Average Placements: While some companies recruit students, the placement rate is not exceptional. Some students find it challenging to secure a job after graduation.* No Air Conditioning: One notable drawback is the lack of air conditioning in the labs, which can affect the learning environment.* Limited Internship Opportunities: Fewer students pursue internships compared to those seeking full-time employment.Verdict: Overall, Ganga Institute of Technology and Management offers a good education experience, particularly in terms of infrastructure, faculty, and industry readiness. However, the placement record and limited internship opportunities are areas for improvement. For students seeking a solid foundation in IT and computing, BCA might be a suitable option.
