What is the GATE 2027 Application Status?
The GATE application status states current position of your application form after submission. IIT Madras will begin GATE 2027 registration is scheduled as per the GATE schedule. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully. Candidates can check their GATE MTech application form status 2027 at GOAPS portal using their enrolment ID and password. It has to be noted that, candidates whose application has been accepted will be eligible to download GATE admit card.

What does the GATE Application Form Under Scrutiny mean?
The GATE application form under scrutiny states that your application form is being reviewed. It’s a process of rectifying your information to verify your eligibility. The GATE authorities run a verification process, where they recheck whether all the details provided are correct.
NOTE: Candidates should not worry about this. If there is any discrepancy in the GATE 2027 registration form, the authorities will inform you of their registered email ID and mobile number.

Candidates can choose at least three exam centres while filling their GATE 2026 application form. The list of GATE exam cities (zone-wise) is available on the website. Besides that, it has to be noted that the three centres must be from the same zone. Thus, based on the availability, the centre will be allotted to the candidate for appearing the GATE 2026 exam.
GATE 2027 application form will be released on August 14, 2026. The last date to apply with no late fee is September 21, and with late fee is September 30.
Candidates can fill GATE application form at GOAPS portal. First, candidates have to register and then fill their form. Overall, stages of GATE form filling include - filling form, uploading of documents, and payment of application fees.
