Good faculty members but not that great infrastructure.
Placements: Since it's mostly a science-based subject, there are not really any placements for this degree after graduation. However, Gokhale has provided a variety of internships since the 2nd year itself. College is really well known, especially for psychology degree.
Infrastructure: Under Calcutta University, it is one of the best colleges that provides a very compact and practical based course on psychology. Gokhale has one of the oldest psychology labs, which contains proper psychological instruments for experimentation. However, it does not provide any hostel facilities as such. But you can find a lot of affordable PGs and flats near the college. There's a proper canteen which contains a variety of food at a cheaper rate, as well as proper medical facilities. Our college also provides opportunities for indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: One of the best things about Gokhale is definitely the faculty members. They are very qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful as well. Of course, you won't connect equally to all the teachers there, some might be your favourite, whereas others might not be that favourite but it's okay. I am sure this course will teach a lot of things, one of them being how to adjust to every situation in life. It is definitely curriculum-relevant. With psychology being such a fast-growing field in the world, this course does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult, though.
Other: I opted for this course because when I chose this subject in class 11, I knew this was something I wanted to pursue. Psychology always intrigued me since the very beginning. The best thing about my course is that I can understand why someone is behaving the way they are and what the thinking pattern is behind that. However, when it comes to fests, if I am being honest, there aren't really very great opportunities for fests. But our seniors have always shown great interest, and now we participate in a lot of fests in other colleges (got some medals as well).

Everything is good and very hygienic. Everyone is helpful.
Placements: 5% of students got placed in our college. I did not get any package. There is very good recruitment. 80% of students got internships. Students get scholarships above 60%. High support is provided by the office facility. We get very helpful councillors. We have an arts lab and other good stuff.
Infrastructure: We have everything mentioned here. Everything is good in our college hostel. Everything is perfect. We get cold water, air conditioners, desks, televisions, computers, a big library, a computer lab, a science lab, helpful stuff, and a good office canteen. We get good facilities.
Faculty: Not every teacher is helpful but most of them are helpful. The course makes students industry-reads. Exams are a little tough. 25% is the passing mark. We have to struggle a lot for semester exams.
Other: I chose this course for my future options. I wish we get more help from college. Every year, our college organizes events, fests, sports, etc.

Totally recommended. You must go if you want to pursue any arts or science subjects.
Placements: Gokhale Memorial Girls' College is one of the finest college located at Bhowanipore, Kolkata. This college is best in psychology and English departments, as well as geography department. The other departments of this college, such as Communicate English, Physics Bengal, and Education, also provide the best education to the students. This college also have a placement cell, where each year students gets placed in companies such as Tata consultancy services, Microsoft, Wipro, etc. The placement rate is quite good here. Around 75% students got internship and placements from Gokhale. Top roles are offered in course of English honors like content writing, professor, writers, publishers, media marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: Gokhale Memorial Girls' College, located in Bhawanipore, Kolkata, has a cozy infrastructure. The infrastructure here does not have a lot of space but it has everything that a college or students at that college need. Gokhale has two buildings: one is the arts building and one is the science building. Some of our classrooms have multiple air conditioning systems, and some don't. The library is totally amazing; any student in Gokhale can access it easily, even through the e-site. Gokhale also has a free Wi-Fi connection. It has a canteen that provides food at an affordable price. Another canteen is being made for the students, with a lot more space than the previous one. Apart from the infrastructure, Gokhale Memorial Girls' College has it's own hostel/PG. Students who travel far from the college can easily access it and stay here.
Faculty: Gokhale Memorial Girls' College is a college for students, especially those who take study and academics seriously. All the faculty members take care of students despite any discrimination. Every faculty member is highly educated. Coming to the faculty members of the English department, we have five professors and each one of them teaches us with the utmost care and helps us with any problem. They always take a midterm examination before the finals so the students get well prepared and score best.

Balanced Experience, mix review.
Placements: Generally, colleges under Calcutta University don't provide placements for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees. I don't have any information about placements offered by Gokhale Memorial Girls' College. However, the college provides mandatory summer internships to all students.
Infrastructure: The college has non AC small classrooms. The canteen serves not-so-tasty food which is a little bit costly. The campus is very small although the library is huge with several books by great authors. Phones and books are not allowed inside the library.
Faculty: The teachers at Gokhale Memorial Girls' College are highly qualified and knowledgeable, but not all of them are cooperative and helpful. Some teachers are very friendly, caring, and cooperative, while others are not receptive to students' needs.

It is famous but should do better.
Placements: There is no chance of recruitment from the college. So we need to opt for a master's course in order to get a job. The college offers absolutely no chance of placements. I suggest students do not keep high hopes. We have to do a master's or look for job opportunities on our own.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not that good. Labs are not in a good state. The library does not have a lot of books. The college has absolutely no campus which is why students have to go outside for everything. Classrooms mostly have no AC and even if they do, students are not allowed to use them.
Faculty: Some professors are really nice but most of them are not that good. Semester exams are usually very hard. But the professors of the English department are very helpful. The teaching quality needs to be improved. We barely get any help from college. Some professors rarely take classes.
