The college is renowned for its experienced faculty.
Placements: There are 87 students in my batch. Top recruiting companies are Zee 24 Ghanta news channel, Times of India, ABP Ananda, Times Bangla, R Bangla. Above 70% of students got placed from this course in Zee 24 Bangla and other newspaper companies. Roles offered are photographer, reporter, and content writers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Recently, the college was painted, and the classrooms are well-maintained. We have computer labs for practicing, and from the library, we can get our required books. The quality of food available in the canteen tastes average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; they clear our doubts without any hesitation. They are qualified and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant, and they help students enhance their skills for the industry. The exams get difficult semester-wise, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I love photography, and I want to increase my skills in photography and editing. We have to go outside and communicate with the public for interviews. Internships provide a chance to do several photography projects at different places. Events happen regularly, and the campus crowd is very much because of politics. Students who get 60% in 12th grade receive the SVMCM scholarship: 12,000 for Commerce and Arts students, and 18,000 for Science students.

There are many good and awesome things in my college but also some things are really not good.
Placements: Some students are placed in this course. The highest package is about 2 to 3 LPA. The average package offered in this course is 1.80 to 2 LPA. 50 to 60% of students got internships from this course. There are many top roles in these courses, like HR, news anchor, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are awesome and very helpful. Very unique and awesome infrastructure is available for this course. The library is very good; there are many varieties of books available. Very good and fresh quality of foods are available in the canteen and also in the mess.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; they are qualified with Ph.D.s and master's degrees, and also they are very knowledgeable about this subject. Absolutely, it's perfectly made for the students for the industry. Semester exams are very difficult in this college. The pass percentage is at least 40%.
Other: This course is very updated, and I see very bright opportunities in the future in this course. They should improve the starting salary package. They give a good amount of scholarships, and there are many events happening.

Faculty members are good in nature.
Placements: The college allows onsite placement for selected streams like BBA computer science, mass communication, etc. with a lucrative package. Few of the top companies hiring from the campus are Infotech, IBM, Satyam, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, etc. The average package starts at 3 lacs per year.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not provided by the college; students have to rent rooms for their stay. The college doesn't have any Wi-Fi facilities for students. Libraries are available with well-stocked books in them. This college also has an excellent lab facility. Classrooms are clean enough and have a good study environment.
Faculty: The course curriculum is just great as it is a mass communication subject, all knowing about communication skills, how to develop communication skills, how to communicate better and also certain theories. We have 85 students in our class, and the qualities of the faculty members are just gray. The teachers are excellent, and they provide the best teaching methods. The college has a very good faculty for the subject, which helped me a lot to clear away all my queries and get to know the subject better.
Other: There are various fests going on in the college. We say our college is "12 mash and 13 porbon". We have winter carnival, freshers, and teachers day celebrations .

Really good infrastructure, facilities and members of the college.
Placements: There are 87 students in my batch. The top roles are media journalism, photographer, crime reporter, and news reporter. Many students got internships at our college. Many are working in several industries, like some Bengali news channel, Zee24ghonta, Times of India, etc.
Infrastructure: This course is very good because it gives us the opportunity to interact with the public. In labs, there are many computers, classrooms are neat and clean and every needed book and journal is available in our library. The infrastructure of our college is fantastic .
Faculty: The teachers and other members of the college are very helpful and knowledgeable about the course. The upcoming semester exams will be a little difficult and the passing percentage is 40%. It makes students smart and confident about themselves.
Other: I chose this course because it's very interesting. It connects with unknown people in public. The best thing about my course is photography, in which I am interested. Extracurricular activities happen several times like sports, fests, etc. which are very exciting and enjoyable.

Satisfied with my college. Good infrastructure and good teachers.
Placements: Placements are not provided directly to the students. But the college provides you internship, and its all about your skill and talent, which will give you placement. Students should read thoroughly, and should learn skills, so that they will be able to get internship easily.
Infrastructure: We have very good facilities and infrastructure. We have media lab, where we are taught practically. We also have libraries, which provide us the required books. Our college has hostel, but not in the first campus. It has hostel in the second campus, in diamond harbour.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and very helpful. Teachers are always there to support you. Course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry ready. Students need to learn the skills at first, then utilise all those.

Like every other thing on Earth, my college is a combination of yin and yang, the good and the bad.
Placements: Those students who want to do jobs after Bachelors degree are placed in reputed organizations. Some good companies recruit from our college. Many students did internships even before passing out at companies like Radio Mirchi, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: The lab is well-maintained. But some of the equipment is defunct, which causes a lot of issues. I don't live in the hostel so I don't know about the hostel. The food offered in canteen is good.
Faculty: Asutosh College has the best faculty of Journalism in Kolkata, which is universally accepted. The teaching quality is great with friendly, approachable teachers. Everyone passes the exams, even though they are quite tough. The course is in tandem with requirements in the modern field for the betterment of the students.
