An overview of GMC, Gadchiroli.

Placements: It was a professional course, so there were no on-campus placements, but there were many options available, such as government vacancies, junior resident positions in the medical college hospital itself, and further studies like postgraduate courses. GMC Gadchiroli did not have PG seats at that time, but we could expect them in the future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was developing. We were the inaugural batch of the college, so we were part of the college's infrastructure development. The hostels were new and good, so there were no problems with them. The classrooms were also good, but the sports area and courts were under construction.

Faculty: As it was a new college, there was a shortage of faculty, of course. However, the exams and curriculum followed the MUHS schedule. Faculty and non-teaching staff were very humble and helpful, but in the first year, we could face some problems regarding the syllabus and class schedule.

Other: As it was a government college, the fees were around Rs. 1.6 lakh for me. I belonged to the general category, and campus life was very good.
