Dissatisfied with the infrastructure, but really good faculty.

Placements: Last year, only 5-10% of students in my course were placed. The highest package offered was INR 20-25,000 per month, and the lowest package offered was INR 8-15,000. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Adani.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the whole college is very bad, including our department. However, they have started renovation work for the entire college. Wifi is available throughout the college. We have two laboratories for geography and one for psychology. The hostel is currently under renovation, and they are providing only room and board.

Faculty: All the teaching facilities at Government Arts College, Gandhinagar are recruited through GPSC, so they are very intellectual and experienced. However, their teaching methods are a little bit old, so we face some issues while adapting to their teaching style. There are some exceptions to this, though. The semester exams are not that difficult, if we are well prepared, we can easily clear the exam.
