The Government College of Pharmacy offers admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) course based on the West Bengal Joint Entrance (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) scores. The applicants must have passed the H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognised Council/Board in a regular class mode with individual pass marks in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics / Biology, and a minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together.

The Government College of Pharmacy is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.). The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, with a minimum of 45% marks in these subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC). They must also pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks. The applicant must be in good mental and physical health. The candidate will have to qualify at the WBJEE or JEE (Main) for B. Pharm admission. Residential/Domicile Certificate is required for Reserved Category candidates. The provisional admission will stand automatically cancelled if the Migration certificate is not submitted within the date specified by the University.
