Diploma in Information Technology - Batch of 2024
3.2
Review of Government college of Diploma in Nashik (Samangaon).
Placements: Our college placement is average; only 1 and 2 companies are placed in our college. But education is the best. In this college, the cutoff is very high. The computer and IT branch cutoff is above 95. This year, last semester, we had internships at our colleges. The degree subject average is most important for admission to the degree.
Infrastructure: Our college department is very curious. Labs and classrooms are big and huge. Hostels are also huge. Our college courses are expendable. And practical also here. The hostel cutoff depends on the result of the semester. Our college courses and hostels are huge and affordable.
Faculty: 3rd-year faculty are permanent members of our college. The faculty staff is well educated and most experienced in teaching, so the faculty is the best in college. And the curriculum has changed this year. And the exam schedule is good for our college. Every semester has 2 PTs (unit tests) and a final exam.
Other: Our college campus and surroundings are very big. The library is also included in our college. Events are organized at the district level. And scholarships also provide for students.

Diploma in Information Technology - Batch of 2024
4.2
The students here are all meritorious and competitive. So it's enjoyable to be part of the college.
Placements: In our branch, one company visited the campus named Thought Works and 4-5 students were selected. It was mandatory to complete a 6-month internship for all students. If you're from the non-tech branch, then placement opportunities are quite good, and some of the students from the non-tech branch also got stipends during their internships.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is quite old and Hardware and Microprocessor's laboratories PC's are not in working condition. The hostel was good and affordable. The food was not that good. All facilities like water purifiers, etc. was provided by the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified but some of the visiting faculty members are not putting in their efforts, so the option remains: only self-study. The curriculum designed is outdated and some frameworks and languages are not in use today. If you're in non-technical, then you'll definitely get highly qualified staff.
Other: The curriculum should be updated according to the New Education Policy. And the labs should be updated .

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and college.
Placements: We were total 60 students in our 2018 batch. We paid the highest fee of 10k each year. There was no recruitment for our Interior Designing Department. All of us got internship from our course. Many students got offered as a junior interior designer or As a intern after pass-out Diploma.
Infrastructure: We didn't has Wi-Fi, but had a big computer lab for software courses. We had very good labs, classrooms and library. All facilities in our hostel was good. We enjoyed our hostel life. College provides us scholarships for better future. Our hostel has a large ground for gym and games.
Faculty: We has best teachers for each subject. Our teachers was very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable and they was some of our seniors. Teaching quality was superb. Semester exams was not too difficult. Passing percentage was 90%. We will always remember our best college life.

I am absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 15% of students were placed out of 70. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package was 2.5 LPA. The recruiting company was L&T. Internships were not provided in our college due to the pandemic. Junior engineer role was offered to students.
Infrastructure: Our college had better infrastructure like labs, etc. Wi-Fi was not available. All classrooms were the best. The library was the best with all types of field books. Hostel facilities were the best but the food served was not good. Sports and games were the best in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and experienced. Their teaching quality was the best. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready. Exams were conducted very strictly. The pass marks were minimum of 40 marks in every subject.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in this field. Our college needs to maintain its roads to minimise accidents.

It is the best college with a good environment, well-qualified staff, and industry-relevant courses.

In my last year, the lowest package offered was 1.3 LPA, and the highest package was 5 LPA. Some companies come with average packages like 2-3 LPA. Most of the students were recruited by Bajaj. In EXTC engineering, top roles are network manager, VLSI designer and developer.

Good college with supportive faculty and decent placements opportunities.
Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities for students. Around 60-70% students get placed every year from our course. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA and average package was around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies visit our campus for hiring students. Many students also get internship opportunities in reputed companies. Roles offered are related to sales, support, management and technical fields. Placement cell also helps students with interview preparation.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and well maintained. Classrooms are clean and spacious. Labs have necessary equipment for practical learning. Wi-Fi facility is available for students. Library has useful books and study materials. Hostel facilities are average with proper rooms and security. Canteen food is decent and campus environment is peaceful for studies.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are helpful, qualified and experienced. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and support students in academics as well as practical knowledge. The teaching quality is good and classes are conducted regularly. The curriculum is relevant and covers important subjects that help students become industry ready. Workshops, seminars and practical sessions are also arranged. Semester exams are moderate in difficult. Students who attend classes regularly and study properly can easily pass. The pass percentage is generally good every year.
Other: Chose this course because it offers good career opportunities and practical knowledge. The best things about this course are supportive faculty, useful subjects and placement guidance. College also organizes cultural events, sports and extracurricular activities which make campus life enjoyable. The campus crowd is decent and friendly. Connectivity to the college is convenient. Scholarship opportunities are also available for eligible students. Overall, this college provides a good learning environment with balanced academics .

Government polytechnic Nashik - the best diploma college in Nashik
Placements: As a diploma college , it offers one of the best chances for jobs as interns and trainees in some of top companies in nashik, Pune , mumbai , navi mumbai and chhatrapati Sambhaji nagar . As being diploma course , the packages varied , with Rs 8500 being lowest and Rs 32000 being highest. Note: these are based on stipends given to interns of my batch and also include those of the students who were promoted during internships, Other values may vary.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar and did not stayed in hostel, yet considering it being a government property , it has some of best facilities and infrastructure is on par with many private colleges . Still some things like practical kits are missing, and take time even when ordered.
Faculty: This is non negotiably the best thing GP nashik has. The faculties here are one of the top and highly qualified with many holding Phd's, and some even publishing books used across nation. Being an autonomous institute the faculties here design the curriculum as per current trends, and it mostly contains the important things students need to know about. The faculties are even helpful, and properly help students when needed.
Other: 1. I chose Electronics and telecommunication on finding my keen interests in technology especially semiconductor as well as the growing demand for semiconductor and India's race on being self sufficient in designing and manufacturing high quality chips. 2. Overall the college is one of the top, yet some things like delay in practical kits due to slow bureaucracy , causes hinders in practicals which eventually have no other options but to be skipped and just completed by orals and theory. 3. College life is good , with all events , fest happening properly throughout academic years. Scholarships are directly offered via governement.
