Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2023
3.4

Absolutely good teachers and some are bad faculty overall below average
Placements: Very good college for diploma. I got 89% there. They are giving a stipend of 15,000 INR on average for 6 months of training in their courses. Companies like Tata Steel, HL, HP, etc., are involved. Almost 90% of students from my batch have secured internships. The top roles offered in our ECE course are in electronics and IT.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel, but the college environment is good. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms with good cleanliness. The library is large, and an average range of books is available, primarily for exam purposes. They conduct sports games such as cricket, football, volleyball, and kabaddi. However, there is no canteen.
Faculty: The faculty are very genuine and do not support copying during exams. All the teachers are qualified up to postgraduate levels, and two faculty members are masters in their respective departments. The teaching quality is not excellent but average, and the course curriculum is average and useful for job and industry readiness. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course because it has scope in both IT and electronics. The best thing about the course is that the labs are very good and offer full scope for the future. I want to suggest improving the subject content, not just the theory part. I got a seat through the POLYCET exam, and the course fee is covered by the government.
