Close to the best in the state.
Placements: About 100 percent of students got placed in mechanical engineering. 95 percent of students got placed in college last year. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, J&W Steel, and many more. All students get internships in different companies and seek a good amount of training and knowledge in the field.
Infrastructure: We have different labs such as computer lab, chemistry lab, workshop for mechanical engineering, physics lab, and many more. Hostels in our college provide good service of water and electricity.
Faculty: Teachers are best at their jobs. They provide a wide range of flexible options in terms of their knowledge. They are experts in terms of course completion. Our semester exams are not that difficult due to the teachers and professors teaching us and making us experts in the respective subjects. Faculty members are good, well-qualified, and experts in their field.
Other: We have farewell and fests from time to time. We also celebrate different festivals and occasions at our college and hostels.

A very good college to complete your 3 years of diploma.
Placements: About 70 to 80% of the students get placed every year. The average package ranges from 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Jindal, Tata, TCS, CEAT, and many other companies. 50% of students got internships in top companies for 2 to 3 years. Top most role offered in my course is junior engineer.
Infrastructure: There are lots of facilities in our college. Workshop is regularly held and classrooms are very neat and tidy. We don't have a library. Hostel facility is also provided to students. Mess food is also quite good and sometimes it's average. Sports and annual games are organised by the college every year.
Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful like close friends. They are very qualified and knowledgeable. Completing these 3 years of course, you will be 100% industry ready so there's no doubt about it. Semester exams are not that much difficult but to pass the exam you have to study. The pass percentage is 33%.

GP Dhanbad quality education college.
Placements: GP Dhanbad has been known for placing 80% of civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and metallurgy engineering students, except for the computer science and engineering branch. All other branch students who are placed have got better packages of 200,000.
Infrastructure: GP Dhanbad is ranked 2nd in terms of placement. The infrastructure of GP Dhanbad College is average. There are two running hostel buildings in our college, one workshop, and one library. Hostel mess food is average in taste, quality, and hygiene.
Faculty: Teachers in GP Dhanbad College are very helpful responsible, and highly well-qualified. Our college faculty is very helpful and strict, with immediate action on any complaints from students. Our semester exams are easy to pass. We can just pass our exams by studying the night before.

An affordable college for people who are interested in doing technical courses.
Placements: In my course, about 40% of students get placed easily. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA this year, and the highest is 4 LPA. Many students do not take jobs; they go for further studies like B.Tech. Top recruiting companies are Jindal Steel & Power, Usha Martin, Electrosteel Steel Limited, etc. Very few people get a chance for internships, but in our curriculum, it is mandatory to do one internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good but old. There is no library present in our college. Classroom conditions are best for studying. In the first year, some people are allotted hostels. I had taken a PG near the college; it cost me about 2000 per month and 3000 per month for meals. There is no canteen, but there are sports facilities like interbranch cricket.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are well-qualified and have a degree in the subject. Their teaching style is good, and they have friendly behavior. They are always ready to solve our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant because the subjects help us build our basics and make us ready for many industry-related issues. Many subjects, like Engineering Drawing, help us in building our basics in the civil engineering field. Exams often happen 3 times per semester: 2 mid-sems and 1 end-sem. Exams are a little bit difficult as sometimes questions are out of syllabus.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in this field, like making buildings. I think from the first semester, they should teach subjects related to my branch only; this will help us get placed easily in any company. I think no events happen here, as it is fully government-run. You all have a chance to get a scholarship, which is E-Kalyan.

Placements: Government Polytechnic Dhanbad is ranked 2nd in terms of placements. It places 75% of students from the metallurgy, electrical, and mechanical branches, except for CS and Civil. The salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. CEAT Tyres, TATA Steel, and Hindalco are a few of the companies that hire students from our college.
Infrastructure: The college building, hostel, and workshop, overall infrastructure of the college is average. College has two hostel buildings currently, Hostel No. 4 and Hostel No. 5, and the mess is inside the hostel. The food quality of the mess is average. There is also playground in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and nice. They are also highly qualified and well-experienced. Our college makes students industry-ready by organising seminars, group discussions, and science-based events. Our external exams are conducted semester-wise.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering branch because I am curious to learn about website and app development.

College infrastructure is poor. Placements are good, except for CSE students.
Placements: Our college in CSE has no placements, but placements in other branches are good. Government Polytechnic Dhanbad provides high placement opportunities for the Metallurgy branch, followed by Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil branches. Computer Science Engineering students, however, do not get any opportunities.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is poor, and there hasn't been much improvement in the college to make it a top college or the number one diploma college in Jharkhand.
Faculty: Faculty members are not good, and number of faculty members is very low, which limits the ability of teachers to provide the best teaching experience to students. Jharkhand government does not focus on this issue. There are labs in the college, but we do not get the opportunity to learn from them. Despite this, the faculty is nice.
