GRIET tops in placements, strong faculty, and vibrant campus life.
Placements: At Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, placements are 70-90 percent, mainly from CSE. Packages range from 3 LPA to 50+ LPA, averaging near 6-7 LPA. Recruiters include Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracleand JPMorgan.
Infrastructure: GRIET offers good infrastructure with smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, campus-wide Wi-Fi, and a spacious digital library. There is no boys' hostel. Canteen food is average, medical facilities are basic, and sports facilities are decent.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, though teaching quality varies by faculty. Some are helpful and concept-oriented, others rely on slides. The curriculum is moderately relevant but not fully industry-ready without self-learning. Semester exams are moderate, with a high pass percentage of around 85-95%.
Other: I am interested in CSE, and I am very interested in coding. There are events, but it would be better if they added more events. I'm okay with the events they are conducting.

There are some drawbacks, but good to survive.
Placements: Around 200 students got college placements among 600 in CSE. An average of 20 LPA is the salary package in our college, as known from seniors. Infinix, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, etc., are the recruiting companies for my course. Around 40–50 percent of students got jobs through our college placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are available for our branch. Other infrastructures are also available for our particular course. Hostel facilities are provided only for girls in our college, and that too only up to a limited capacity. There is no college hostel or PG for boys. There is a hall for indoor games and sports and a sufficiently large ground to play outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are very interactive, helpful, and knowledgeable for teaching. They interact closely with us to explain personal doubts in subjects. The pass percentage required in semester exams is 40 percent, and a minimum of 75 percent attendance is needed to qualify for exams.

I am satisfied with the placements in the year 2025. Many students got placed with a good package.
Placements: 80 percent of students have been placed in the year 2025 CSDS Branch. The highest package offered is 51 LPA and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruits are Accenture and Infosys. Our college offers CSE, CSDS, CSM, CSBS, EEE, MEC, and CE as the courses offered by Gokaraju Rangaraju College.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connection is poor and the canteen is very small. There is no college hostel for boys and no court for badminton or kabaddi. The indoor games are very few, and the quality of food in the canteen is average. .The infrastructure of the 1st year 3rd block was very poor.
Faculty: The college is very strict in rules, and the faculty are well-experienced. The curriculum is not updated yet. It still needs to be improved. The semester exams were easy to pass if we attended the classes. The faculty are very strict and less friendly to students.
Other: There are very few events conducted by the college. The college provides scholarships through EAMCET counseling, and the college needs to improve the canteen and expand the area for sports.

Good faculty, infrastructure, but the course curriculum is not industry oriented.
Placements: Almost 50 percent of students were placed in our batch. Mostly, software companies like TCS, Capgemini, Infosys come to visit the campus. The highest package was 7 LPA for our department and the lowest was 3.36 LPA for our department. Mostly, the CSE and IT branches were best for our college.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure was also very good, neat and beautiful. In our department labs were very well structured with all the required facilities. Wi-Fi facility was also available in labs. The library was there with good sources for learning. The sports facility was good. The canteen was available. There was no hostel for boys in college.
Faculty: Faculty were very good and supportive. They provided a good level of teaching. The course was relevant to learn theory, but from industry perspective, it is not up to the mark. Semester exams were not very difficult, if you study you can easily pass the exam with a good percentage.

Outdated syllabus and faculty but placements are really good.
Placements: It is better than many of the EAMCET colleges, and several companies visit for hiring. Just need to be skilled and lucky enough to get placed but the TPO works hard enough to get the companies. Jpmc is one of the top companies that comes for hiring. Twice, once for internship and then for full time.
Infrastructure: Library is pretty good, but labs and Wi-Fi facilities are not so good. Students are not allowed in the library during classes. Laptops are pretty old in the labs and the course syllabus is pretty outdated. It is better not to jump into arguments with the lab faculty.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are not so good, curriculum is a bit outdated, but one can easily clear the exams since the paper setting and evaluation are done liberally just have to follow the assignments and important notes to clear the exams. Better not mess with the faculty.

One can study here for four years, but the experience is not as good as at IITs or NITs.
Placements: Around 600 to 700 students have joined only Computer Science and Engineering. The highest package I have heard is about 50 LPA, and the average salary package is 20 to 25 LPA. The most commonly recruiting companies are Infosys, Oracle, Tech Mahindra, etc. In our particular batch, i.e., CSE, around 20 percent of students got college placements (as I learned from my seniors).
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure availability for my course/department are good or above average. The hostel facility in the college is only for girls, and it has a decent and limited capacity. Finally, the facilities or freedom for mess, canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are average, with some small and silly rules.
Faculty: Teachers here are very close and interact personally (not all). They are knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is excellent here, with a small disadvantage. The course curriculum is relevant here, and it makes the students industry-ready. Until now, no semester exams have been conducted, so I cannot answer this question, but mid-exams are good with strict invigilators and give a quality exam feeling while writing.
Other: Actually, nowadays technology is improving very rapidly. So there is nothing boring found here for me personally, so I chose the CSE course.
