My experience at Haridwar University.

Placements: In 2024, a good number of students have secured placements. Top recruiting companies including delivery. The highest packages offered is 60 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. 90% of students got internships till now.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is very good. The university situated on the bank of the river environment is peaceful and non-pollution. There are well-maintained digital classrooms and well-equipped labs. We have well-stocked libraries for solo and group study. Sports and hostel facilities are also available. Indoor and outdoor games are available.

Faculty: Haridwar University is known for its curriculum and highly experienced teachers. All the teachers are well-qualified, supportive, knowledgeable and helpful to students. Every student can work on their project with the help of teachers. The remaining teachers are masters in their subjects.

Placements: My seniors tell me that Haridwar University has always had a 96 percent placement rate in 2024, offering the best opportunities for students. Till now, 98% of students have secured internships. Recruitment companies include Tech Mahindra, Adobe, Accenture, and other multinational companies that visit the university for better placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is very good, with the entire campus being pollution-free and having a great environment. The university provides many facilities to students, such as sports facilities, well-equipped labs, and beautiful gardens with greenery.

Faculty: Faculty members of the university are well-educated, polite, knowledgeable, and highly experienced. Many teachers hold Ph.D. degrees, and some are researchers. Placements: I literally don't know about placement, but according to the college posters and online website reviews, our college placement is good. But overall, it depends on our own skills. As I said before, our college is a small university, so very less companies come to hire students.

Infrastructure: The college is decent, but it makes itself out to be too strict, like a big university. Since our college is a small university, they should understand that and not try to compete with a big university, and behave accordingly with the students. Overall, the college is okay.

Haridwar University is the best.

Placements: Almost 96% of students got placed in 2023. Recruiting companies are L&T, Nascom Foundation, Indian Navy, Tech Mahindra, etc. Almost 98% of students got internships till now. Roles offered are application development, etc. The highest salary package offered is 85 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Haridwar University provides many facilities to us like free Wi-Fi all over campus during class and in the hostel. Sports facilities are provided. A hostel facility is also available. There is a separate campus for boys and girls. We have well-stocked libraries.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful to students. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders. Some of them are researchers. The remaining teachers completed their master's in their respective subjects. All teachers are well-qualified and experienced. The exam pattern is semester-wise. The curriculum is so good.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty. It really has good campus and average infrastructure.

Placements: Hello Everyone! My graduation is from (2023-2026); currently, I am in 2nd year. Many of the students are placed in several companies. Out of 27 students, 4 students got the placement. It totally depends upon you. How much you study Most of the students in my class were below average or average, and some of the students were good at studies. That good students got placement and some got off-campus placement. We got an internship, but that's not that worth it. We didn't get any specialization in this university.

Infrastructure: We got a classroom that is so small, Wi-Fi connection is poor here. In labs there are so many computers, but most of them are not working. If working there, there is no software for coding. You have to bring your own system for coding. You can do coding in a free online compiler. Library is also small. You will get your books according to your course, but rather than your course, there is nothing. Like any storybooks or any motivational books, etc. I am a day scholar, so I don't know about the hostel food. But my hostel friends used to say food is not so good; they used to order food from Zomato or Swiggy most of the time. Medical facilities are so poor. I don't know about the sports and games because I am not involved in this stuff.

Faculty: I am currently in 2nd year BCA, and we didn't get good faculty members at all. They are not that much qualified. But, yes, programming teachers are good, and they have good knowledge of their field. I couldn't say the academic skills make students perfect for the jobs. Semester exams are not that much difficult. If you study 1 week before the exam, you can score more than 8 CGPA. Pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I was basically from the bio stream. But my interest was in the IT field, so I switched my stream from bio to IT. This college was affordable for me according to a private college. It is a very strict college. You will feel like you're studying school again after passing out from 12th. You have to follow rules and regulations. Maintain 75% attendance, proper uniform, class tests, mid-seems, etc. The best thing is that you will get some free space compared to B. Teach for your extracurricular activities. You can learn any technology side by side. Again I am saying anybody can manage the time. If I got the opportunity to change something in my course, I would add some soft skills activities too. Events at the campus crowd these are amazing. This university provides you a lot of scholarships and involves you in extracurricular activities, which is very good.

My 1st year’s college experience.

Placements: I’m a 1st year student and so we didn't get any placements yet. But this year B.Tech CSE student got a package of 4 LPA. It's based upon your luck and skills. Mainly the companies for BCA are Wipro, TCS, IBM, Mahindra, etc. I don't have more information as I'm just a 1st year’s student.

Infrastructure: In my 1st semester, we had good Wi-Fi range which we could access from our mobile via the username and password, but in the 2nd semester, the WiFi range got discontinued and we could access them in the labs only via the ethernet cable. The labs are good but few of them have old softwares and few computers don't start, but I hope they will get them repaired before the 3rd semester. The library has many students studying there, but they don't have type of books which the teachers ask us to get. I don't stay in the hostel but i know it is average and the food quality is below average. Sometimes you might get a stone or an insect in the food, but not everyday. They don't have medical facilities at all. They don't have sports and games, we have a free lecture in which we can play. They have NCC which you can join.

Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful and teach too good. They also supports us but a few of them don’t have any practical knowledge even though they teach us practical field subjects, these kind of teachers don't show decent behavior at all. They don't even behave like a decent teacher.

Other: I chose this course on my own. Best thing is that you can learn many languages like C, C+, Java, Python, and many others which can help you in the industry or in making your career. If you learn cybersecurity, then your future is secured not matter how advance the AI becomes. They should put more relevant subjects rather than teaching us BBA subjects in BCA which is a waste of time. Our college celebrates an annual fest for 3 days in a year and before that, we have a 3 days of sports. Extracurricular activities include NCC. Our college has many students but the campus crowd is less because the college just focus on studies because of which few of them get out of the class, the hostelers get to their rooms and sleep. The day scholars can't leave the campus because they can only go home during the break time or after 4:00pm.
