The COMEDK UGET 2026 application window will tentatively open in Feb 2026 for the Hirasugar Institute of Technology - HSIT admission process of BE/BTech courses.
The Karnataka PGCET 2026 registrations for admission to MBA, MCA, and ME/MTech courses will be expected to begin in the last week of April 2026.
The KCET 2026 registration window will open on Jan 17, 2026 for admission to the BE/BTech and other courses. Students can register till February 2026 ( Tentative). The exam will be held on April 23, 2026 and April 24, 2026.
The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

Best college with discipline and good placements.

Placements: College offers many placement opportunities. More than 200 students are studying in my course. Even we get offers from companies like Infosys, Accenture, and many more. They bring different training for students by experts. Almost 70 to 80% of students get internships in big companies.

Infrastructure: This college had A+ grade from NACC last year 2024. There are labs for each different course. College provides Wi-Fi access to all the students on the campus and students can showcase their talent.

Faculty: All faculty members are well-experienced. They provide us with all the necessary resources to move forward in the best way. Exams are conducted very well-mannered and follow all the rules from VTU. The passing mark is 35. The course curriculum is so relevant and even provides the opportunity to have industry visits. The courses are well-explained by experienced professors in all the departments.

Other: The campus is full of peaceful vibes and it is eco-friendly. The institute has all the necessary requirements. We have a gym, sports club, garden, and temple. Our college is worth it and has the best campus 1.

Good college with good education and infrastructure.

Placements: Around 70% students got placed. The highest package is of 10 LPA The lowest package is of 2 LPA The average package is of 4 LPA Top recruiting companies TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra Around 10% students got internships Top roles offered are design engineers, assistant engineers, data analyst .

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities is good. Sports facilities should be improved. The mess food is good and hygienic. The canteen facility should be improved. The Wi-Fi and library facility is good. Mess workers maintain regular hygiene . Environment is friendly and fresh .

Faculty: Teachers have well experience and deep knowledge. It is relevant and it makes the students teach ground reality and makes students industry ready. Regular seminars are conducted for extra knowledge gain. The exams are bit easy. The passing percentage average this year is 70% .

Other: I chose this course for my interest of Machines and 3d drawing The placements number should improve Fest and Events should be scaled up.

Good college and totally satisfied with education and infrastructure.

Placements: Around 60% of the students got placed. The highest package is of 10 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra. Around 10% of students got internships. Top roles offered are Design Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good and all the basic amenities are available. The food provided is hygienic and healthy, the mess is neat and clean and the workers maintain good hygiene. The food and other facilities is also good. Need to improve the sports and canteen facility .

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and experienced. They give special attention to students, well guided assignments. Different events and seminars are conducted for the enhancement of knowledge. The course makes students industry ready. The passing percentage is 70%.

Other: The main reason to opt for M.tech is my interest for machines and 3D drawing. Industry and recent trends should be focused and improvised. Events and fests specially need to scaled up.

Our college has a good infrastructure and campus with good faculty members.

Placements: Placements have been improved since 2019. Many students are being placed in MNCs. The training provided for placements has been fruitful. The percentage of students being placed in computer science and engineering has been increased statistically.

Infrastructure: Hostel, library, and classrooms are well-equipped and are provided with good ventilation. There is a gym for boys and indoor games for all. Food provided is health-oriented. Mess is always found clean. Girls hostel has a clinic for health issues. Canteen is the area that needs to be improved with more items added.

Faculty: The teaching quality is good. The pass percentage in computer science and engineering is 100%. The staff is great. Teaching is satisfactory. Weekly activities help students to gain extra knowledge and boost their confidence and stage courage. Industrial visits are held once every year and help students understand how an industry works.

Other: Wi-Fi in the hostel can be improved.

The campus is good and beautiful. It is worthy.

Placements: Almost 60-70% of the students got placements. The highest salary package offered was around 6 LPA. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Eleation, Infosys, Wipro, Kinetic, etc., are top recruiters. More than 25 companies visited here for placements. TP cell is also there. Lab equipment is good. The college offers a healthy environment. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA. Almost 60% of the students got internships.

Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful. Infrastructure is good. The campus is lush green. Wi-Fi facility is available. Classrooms are clean and good. The hostel is too nice. The food served in the mess is also good and hygienic. Canteen service is also good. Medicine facilities are also available. There is a separate gym. There is also an indoor stadium. The hall is available for practising extracurricular activities.

Faculty: All the teachers here are well experienced and talented. There are good staff members. Teachers are always available most of the times. They are friendly, good and helpful. Teaching quality is also good and easily understandable. They can clarify the doubts in the required language.

Other: I have chosen this course as it was my own interest, and it is very helpful. There should daily study to understand the concepts. The college is accredited by NBA and NAAC.

Good for knowledge, bad at placement.

Placements: The placements were very bad, many fraud companies were able to fool the college and the students. It was the same case with our senior, only few got selected but salary offered was very low. The highest salary offered was 3.6 Lacks Per year, the lowest was 96000 per year, the average salary offered by the companies were 1.5 Lacks per year. ZIcom, Serious, wipro, juspay (pool campus). They were many hiring for tech support. Zero internships. Yes there is placement cell, not much useful as the co-coordinator is frequently changed. Efficiency is poor.

Infrastructure: The campus is really good. The classes and labs are well-equipped. Clean and spacious. Indoor and out sports facility is really good. The food in the good, tasty, healthy. Spacious rooms with separate sections for each student. Best infrastructure and well spread campus and cool environment for study.

Faculty: The qualified staff is hired, all the heads of department are Ph.D. holder, the lecturer are student friendly and interactive. The teaching quality and methods are strictly professional yet friendly in nature. 6:1, student to faculty ratio. We had industrial visit and sessions which really helped out the students. Yes, course was really helpful, especially my department was best in both faculty and labs.

Other: We have college fest, which is popular in the surrounding, international presentations and curriculum sessions on higher studies. Inter college and inter state college competitions, all these occur in even semester only. Scholarship is provided by government depending on student capability.
