Below is the IIT Bombay eligibility criteria for MDes Mobility and Vehicle Design course:Candidates need to pass four-year bachelor's degree in Design/ Engineering/ Architecture/ Interior Design (BPlan considered equivalent to BArch and four-year BSc Engineering course after HSC considered equivalent to BE/ BTech) or, Professional Diploma in Design (minimum 4 years) or,BFA Sculpture (4-year professional programme with entry after Class 12) to apply for IIT Bombay MDes Mobility and Vehicle Design course.

Additionally, the average package offered during IIT Bombay placements 2023 stood at INR 21.82 LPA. Besides, the overall placement rate recorded during IIT Bombay placements 2023 was 82%. Moreover, a total of 384 companies participated and 1,898 offers were made during IIT Bombay placements 2023.

IIT Bombay offers BDes through IDC School of Design at the UG level. It is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. It also offers five-year integrated BDes + MDes programme spread across 10 semesters. The option of doing a dual degree, will be available at the end of third year. Aspirants who have completed Class 12 or equivalent can apply for BDes course. Those who have appeared for the first time in the qualifying exam in 2022 or earlier are not eligible.
