IIT Bombay BDes is a four-year course spread across eight semesters. It also offers a five-year integrated BDes + MDes programme. Candidates have an option of doing dual degree at the end of the third year. Both these courses are credit-based. Each specialisation has slightly separate curriculum. Yes, IIT Bombay conducts Common Entrance Exam for Design or CEED for admission to MDes programme. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted in online mode. It is a three-hour exam conducted once in a year. Candidates shortlisted based on CEED rank have to also appear for IDC written test conducted by the institute. The shortlisted aspirants are further require to come for an interview round for final selection.

IIT Bombay offers BDes through IDC School of Design at the UG level. It is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. It also offers five-year integrated BDes + MDes programme spread across 10 semesters. The option of doing a dual degree, will be available at the end of third year. Aspirants who have completed Class 12 or equivalent can apply for BDes course. Those who have appeared for the first time in the qualifying exam in 2022 or earlier are not eligible.
