Placements: We have 100% placements. Top hotel brands as well as cruise companies visit our college to hire students. Management Trainee is the top role offered. The lowest package is Rs. 18,000, and the highest can be up to Rs. 50,000. Every student gets the placements, and it is highly good.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for students. Canteen food is good, lunch is provided to all students. Medical facilities are also available. We have a basketball court, a playground, and a badminton court. We have a sports week for the students. The Practical rooms are decent.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, helpful, amazing, and the best in the industry. We have alumni like P.S. Bali and Alex Ranju. The most famous personalities of this industry. We get to interact with them through various events. This course provides hands-on learning.

Why you should choose IHM Kolkata over other IHM.

Placements: If we want to do a management degree in the hotel industry IHM Kolkata is the best place to guide us. Around 100% of students were placed in the year 2024 in companies like Taj, Oberois, Four Seasons, Jio, etc. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Around 100% of students got internships in properties like Taj, Oberoi, ITC, Leela Palace, etc. Roles offered in this course are assistant manager, supervisor, and associate.

Infrastructure: IHM Kolkata has many facilities available on the campus like large classrooms with smart boards, air-conditioned dining hall with television, and a huge library. Basketball and badminton courts are available. There is a huge ground to play any kind of sports we like.

Faculty: The best part of this college is faculty members they provide. Each faculty member here is experienced. They teach us like no one else can. They also solve our doubts or any other issues. They offer 4-month internships in this course and make students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to moderate level with passing marks of 24 out of 60.

Other: IHM Kolkata organises the biggest food festival in Eastern India that is Gourmet Nite every year. It allows us to showcase our talent and network with the people in the hotel industry.

Best college for hotel management in Kolkata.

Infrastructure: College facilities one will get here are as follows Projector-enabled classrooms, Library, Yoga (as a subject), Clubs to join, Day food at no extra cost, Canteen for any other items one wants (paid), and Hostels. It does not have Wi-Fi for students and does not have air-conditioned classrooms.

Other: The most outstanding event is Gourmet Night. There are also extracurricular activities that one will get to do, mostly for hostelites but also for day scholars.

IHM Kolkata is the best for hotel management, with good placement and good faculty.

Placements: Our college provided 95% placement of students. More than 50 retail and hotel companies come for campus placement in our institute. The highest package is 7 lakhs and the lowest is 2.5 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are Taj, OBEROI, JIO, MARRIOTT, HYATT, LALIT, BATA, and many more.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good. All the classrooms have projectors and every bench desk has a charging socket. Hostels are the best compared to others. The food quality is great; you never feel like you are living in a hostel. Hostels provide many facilities such as a gym, sports, and more.

Faculty: The faculty members of my college are excellent. They support students in every situation and help in education. The teaching quality is superb. This course prepares students for jobs in the industry. If you are a little good in studies, then you will pass easily, but if you want good marks, then you need to study more.

Other: I chose this course because there are many job opportunities after it. According to me, nothing needs improvement.

It’s the best college if you're interested in the hospitality industry.

Placements: The placements percentage in IHM Kolkata is approximately 90-100%.The lowest package offered is 1.8 LPA and the highest package is around 8 LPA. There are many big companies visiting for placements in IHM Kolkata like Taj, Oberoi, Marriott, Hyatt, and others. Almost 80% students got internships at Taj, Hyaat, JW Marriot, etc. The students get offers for MT which is management training at IHM Kolkata which is the best thing about this college.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities available in IHM Kolkata. This college has different types of training kitchens for students. There is a Library for the students along with a training restaurant to practice cooking. If we talk about the hostel food and their facilities, the food at IHM Kolkata is really good and hygienic. For medical emergency, the hostel warden lives in the campus with the students to take care of everyone and teaches discipline to every student residing in the college hostel.

Faculty: The faculty members at IHM Kolkata are real life heroes. The way they teach the students I s really great. The college has very highly knowledgeable faculty members. The faculty members not only teach the students for the exams, but they also prepare the students for the industry and help them with facing real life problems. If I talk about the semester exams, they are really tough, it's good for the students who prepare for the management training interviews or want to get into big brands. The facilities prepare the students to handle the situations they are going to face in the interviews.

Other: I chose this course because I love to travel and explore. According to me this industry is best to cater my goals. I have a huge interest in hotel and hospitality industry. I think this course should include visits to the hotels which would be helpful for the students to gain experience from different places and hotels. The campus of this college is quite small, but no stone is left unturned in organizing college events. They make sure the students take part in the events which happen in the college along with other extra curricular activities.

Hospitality King IHM KOLKATA.

Placements: The college placement at IHM Kolkata is good. Almost 90 to 100% of students get placed in the campus placement. The top companies that came for recruiting are The Oberoi, The Taj, ITC, JW Marriott, Hyatt, etc. The average package is INR 4,00,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms and the library have AC as well as Wi-Fi. They provide lunch to all the students, and the food is very good and hygienic as well. They have a pretty good campus in which the students can play basketball, volleyball, etc.

Faculty: The faculty of IHM Kolkata is highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful to the students. They have vast knowledge about the hospitality industry, which helps students build their careers in a good way. The semester exam is not very easy. It is going to be tough if you haven't prepared well.

Other: IHM Kolkata holds events such as Freshers, Annual Day, etc. In the event, the students have to manage, which is good for gaining leadership skills for the students.
