Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2027
1.2
1Placements1Infrastructure2Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
High fees, poor value, and a waste of time.
Placements: BCA Batch of 2026 has a placement rate of 40–50% (including off-campus), with a salary range of ₹1.2 LPA minimum to ₹4.9 LPA maximum (off-campus), and a median CTC of ₹3.2 LPA. The top recruiters are mostly BPOs and sales companies like Teleperformance, Genpact, and Concentrix. Around 10–15% of students get internships, mainly in sales, data entry, or basic analytics, with top roles including customer support, sales executive, and entry-level data analyst. However, campus interviews are often restricted for students due to administrative issues.
Infrastructure: Labs and PCs are available, but most PCs are outdated and often slow. Wi-Fi is not available in every classroom, and access is limited. There are no fixed classrooms, so students frequently change rooms. Lifts are present, but students are generally not allowed to use them. A common room is not available for students, and the library is functional but has limited digital resources.
Faculty: Most teachers are freshly out of their master’s programs and lack real-world or in-depth subject knowledge, teaching quality is largely theoretical, with minimal focus on practical skills or industry tools, though support is consistent. The course content is outdated in many areas and not aligned with current tech trends, so students need to rely heavily on self-learning and external certification to be job-ready. Exams are easy to moderate, predictable, and mostly theory-based, with a pass percentage around 90–95% achievable through basic preparation from notes or previous year papers.
Other: I chose the BCA course due to my interest in tech, programming, and web development. The best part is that it covers basic IT concepts and provides a solid starting point for tech careers. However, there are areas that need improvement. Most teachers are fresh postgraduates with limited knowledge, the labs are outdated, and the infrastructure is poor. Additionally, there was a mid-semester fee hike (a case has been filed in the High Court), and the curriculum is not industry-relevant. As for campus life, there are few events and fests, an average crowd, decent metro connectivity (Janakpuri), and very limited extracurricular activities.

Bachelor of Business Administration - Batch of 2027

It is the best college with the best placements.
Placements: Roles, like HR, marketing, research analyst, and marketing analyst are offered. The placement rate is around 75-95%, depending on the batch. Some sources report that it has close to 100% placements. The average packages range from 3-8 LPA. The highest package offered is 12.78 LPA for top performers. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, IBM, Deloitte, Genpact, HDFC Bank, SAP Labs, Amazon, Royal Bank of Scotland, etc.
Infrastructure: The canteen is very good, and it also serves non-vegetarian food such as chicken shawarma, which is my favourite. It has the best canteen compared to other colleges of the IP University and DU. I suggest students do not expect an official hostel for male students, and most students stay in nearby PGs or private hostels. The college canteen and Nescafé offer decent meals at affordable prices, but cleanliness and space can be an issue. Only basic medical aid is available on campus. Serious health care requires visiting a clinic or hospital outside. There is no major sports infrastructure. We will get table tennis and badminton at best, but there is no playground.
Faculty: Semester exams are quite easy for students to start studying 10 days before exams, and they would definitely get good marks. The paper format is decided by IP University, and it is the same among all colleges. Teachers are very supportive, so they would give the best. There is no need to worry and we only need to study with concentration.

Overall, the college is good. The infrastructure is good, and facilities are also good.
Placements: 50-60% of students got placements in different companies. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Zomato, ITC, etc. 30-40% of students get internships in different companies and NGOs. Top roles offered in the course are HR management, banking, finance, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure, such as well-managed computers in computer labs, a blackboard and projectors in classrooms, and sanitation in washrooms. Our college also facilitates Wi-Fi during classes and air conditioning. Our college has a library where a lot of books are stored for studying.
Faculty: All teachers are kind and helpful towards students and clear all doubts. All teachers have a good knowledge of the subject. Teachers provide notes and PYQs to students, which help them to prepare for exams. They give topics for presentation, give assignments, and conduct industrial visits, which help students to become future-ready. The college conducts two types of exams, internal and external, for students to pass the semester. The pass percentage is 40% out of 100%.
Other: This course provides specialisation in finance, banking and insurance, HR management, etc. It is good for students who want to choose these fields.

Decent college with quality faculty.
Placements: Around 50–60% of students get placed on a list of diverse companies. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies include TCS, Deloitte, Infosys, British Telecom, Wipro, Amazon, and many more. Around 25–30% of students receive internships in their first year through Internfair at small companies like Magicpin and Agile Capital Services. The top roles offered include HR Manager, Marketing Manager, Financial Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 8 labs on campus, all equipped with air conditioning and Wi-Fi, which is available only during classes for classwork. There is also a library with adequate books and even computer systems for work but are accessible only after classes are done for the day or there is a break. All classes are equipped with proper lighting, fans, and air conditioning. Blackboards, projectors, and computer systems are available for presentations. Washrooms are clean and well-maintained. An elevator is also present.
Faculty: Faculty members include hardworking teachers who are dedicated to giving their best to the students every day. They are understanding and easily approachable for doubts and concerns. The curriculum followed is prescribed by GGSIPU. There are written exams, assignments, presentations and attendance that make for the marks of internal exams. These are followed by external written exams held 1.5 to 2 months after internals.
Other: I chose this course as it offers what I require at affordable fee. The best thing about the course is the diversity it offers. Fests and events conducted are insightful and experiential. The quality of the crowd is average. The college clubs and committees play a great role, as they make the campus a better place by conducting events regularly. I wish there is a better common room for boys that is accessible at any time during working hours and well-maintained too.

Life in Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management.
Placements: I am right now pursuing BBA from Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management. 75% of students are placed in my course. The highest package offered by our college is 5 LPA. The lowest salary is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Infosys, etc. 85% of the students get their internships and roles offered are HR, marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: They have Wi-Fi, labs, and library. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The quality of food provided in the canteen is very fresh.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind to students. Most of the faculty members have gained Ph.D. in their education. Teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are not very difficult as you study hard you can gain top marks. Exams are easy as compared to other exams. Faculty members of my college are very nice and sweet to students. They are very helpful and give very good suggestions to students for the future.
Other: As I want to go into banking sector that is why I took BBA. It is best to know things about business and the financial system of our country. Events held are very good and interesting, and we enjoy very much there.

Decent college and good infrastructure but average to below-average packages.
Placements: Placements in IITM Janakpuri are average, with around 30-40% of students getting placed. The highest package is around 5-6 Lacs, and the average is 2-3 Lacs. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, and HDFC recruit from here. About 20-25% of students get internships in companies like EY and Infosys. Common roles include business analyst, marketing intern, and HR associate.
Infrastructure: The college has air-conditioned classrooms and a library. Labs are well-equipped, and the canteen is also very nice. There's no hostel, but overall, the college provides the best possible facilities required for any student. Overall, the infrastructure is pretty nice for academic needs.
Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, and the BBA curriculum is industry-relevant. Exams are moderately challenging, with a good pass percentage, ensuring students are well-prepared for their careers. The college provides a solid foundation for both academic and practical learning and supports physical skills too.
Other: I chose this course to enhance my business skills and prepare for my career. Improvement needed is a shift to practical skills from book skills, as well as in placements and real-world adaptation. The campus vibe is friendly and good, the faculty is also very helpful, and the campus hosts regular events. Connectivity is also decent.
