ILNU Ahmedabad is worth being considered, given all the previous rankings it owns as an Institute providing Law. The India Today has ranked it on 18, while IIRF 2024 has ranked it 7, The Week ranked ILNU Ahmedabad, 14 and Outlook ranked it on rank 7. ILNU Ahmedabad is accredited by NAAC with grade 'A+' and is UGC- recognised. All these rankings and titles are awarded to an Institution depending on the performance and results it generates over the course of period. The committees conduct activities that are academia-centric and cultural-centric and encourage diversity. The Institute conducts fests, seminars, recreational activities, competitions, tournaments, debates, quizzes, guest lectures etc. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Institute provides a blend of relaxing yet competitive vibe for the students to thrive in a fair balance.

The sanctioned intake of students under the BA LLB (Hons) at ILNU Ahmedabad is 180. This includes the seats for General category (153) and NRI/NRI Sponsored category (27). These seats are filled based on the applicant's performance in CLAT, the entrance exam counducted by the Consortium of NLUs. Beyond the sanctioned intake, 15% (supernumerary) seats are reserved for Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Foreign Nationals (FN) and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries-South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA). The application procedure for the supernumerary seats will be notified separately on the institute's official website.
