Yashwantrao Mohite Institute of Management Bharati Vidyapeeth is a Tier 2 college and inching closer to Tier 1. This is quite evident if you are well acquainted with the institution. The Institute has been around for quite some time now and has earned itself positive reputation particularly in the western region. Its curriculum is strong, its faculty experienced and its placement records are not so bad either. Nonetheless, it may be a little bit behind when compared to top tier colleges like IIMs, XLRI or even some of the leading private B-schools. However, Tier 2 isn’t such a bad place, and they are often among the best within this category. Moreover, being part of Bharati Vidyapeeth University gives them an upper hand as it has quite a good name on its own. Hence although not Tier 1 per se, but still good enough for anyone searching for quality management education.

To gain admission to Yashwantrao Mohite Institute of Management Bharati Vidyapeeth's MCA programme one should aim for a good score in MAH MCA CET examination. Usually, it is considered that 70-90% percentiles are enough to manage a seat. However, actual cutoff may differ from year to year due to factors like number of applicants and level of difficulty in exams. Nevertheless, approximately speaking if you hit 80-120 out of 200 mark then your selection chances will be moderate indeed. Just remember; this isn’t the only parameter which counts; graduation grades and personal interviews too play their role as far as overall profile is concerned. Hence aim high but be ready as well for a holistic evaluation process.
