For reserved category students, the admission criteria for Diploma in Physiotherapy (DPT) at IPGMER Kolkata includes passing the Higher Secondary (10 + 2) or an equivalent examination with pass marks individually in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and attaining the age of 17 years on 1st September of the respective year of admission. Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the Qualifying Examination and appearance in a centralized counseling session, with SC/ST and Physically Handicapped reservation as per government policy.
