Compared to prestigious engineering schools, entrance to JVIT (Jnana Vikas Institute of Technology) is comparatively simple. JVIT primarily admits students based on their achievement in admission tests like KCET or COMEDK. It's critical to fulfill the institute's eligibility requirements, which include achieving a respectable score on these tests and the necessary cumulative score on 12th-grade or comparable exams. Students with average to good scores can get a seat because it is not as competitive or sought-after as NITs or IITs. But because of demand, some fields, like computer Science or early childhood education, can face a little more competition.

Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, has maintained an up-gradation in placement records. In the recent placement drives conducted:1. *2022 Placement Highlights*: - the highest Package Offered was INR 27 LPA, which shows that the institution is capable of attracting lucrative recruiters for its students.- The median package stood at INR 6 LPA, which was in line with general industry packages for engineering graduates.2. *2023 Placement Highlights*:- The *highest package offered* came down by a small percentage to *INR 18 LPA*, still very reflective of healthy placement opportunities.- The average package was between *INR 4–6 LPA*, and the placement rates were good, which shows that the institute is well connected with industry recruiters.3. *Top Recruiters*:- Amazon, IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, and Wipro are regular recruiters in the fields of IT, software development, and consulting, among others. The placement cell of the institute is actively involved in bringing students to potential employers through training, mock interviews, and industrial exposure. The placement percentages have always been more than 80%, and hence, the placement initiative is quite effective.
