Candidates must fulfill particular eligibility requirements and adhere to a predetermined admissions procedure in order to be admitted to IIBS Bangalore's MBA program. First and foremost, you need to have earned a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points (45% for reserved categories). Although they may also administer their own entrance exam and interview for applicants who haven't taken these tests, IIBS accepts a number of national-level entrance exams, including CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and ATMA. Candidates are shortlisted based on their entrance exam scores after fulfilling the requirements, and then they go through a Personal Interview (PI) round. Your academic background, professional experience (if any), communication abilities, and general fit for the MBA programme will all be assessed at the PI. Group discussions (GD) may also be taken into account by IIBS throughout the selection process. Following selection, candidates must pay the necessary fees and finish the admission requirements, which include submitting paperwork such as academic transcripts, entrance exam results, and proof of job experience (if applicable).

IIBS Bangalore is generally a *Tier 2* business school. It offers some excellent academic programs and has sound industry reputation, which is not as great as that of institutes like IIMs and XLRI. These colleges are often termed as Tier 1 schools. IIBS has been gaining recognition for practical approach to management education, good industry contacts, and low fees. As of now, however, as far as rankings in the nation go, placement statistics, and brand value are concerned, it lags a little behind the elite Tier 1 B-schools.

The comparison between AIMS IBS and IIBS recruiter engagement and salary offer by the companies follow the segregation as shown in the following table. The average salary range of students placed at AIMS IBS is INR 4.5 to 6 Lacs per annum, however, students are offered the highest salary through Campus recruitment through sectors like Banking finance and Insurance and Consulting. Conversely, I read, IIBS generally offers an average salary package of INR 4-5 Lakhs, and the students get placed about 80-85% of the times. Although both institutions provide fairly good industry exposure, however, recruiters list in IIBS maybe larger in size.

Besides that, the working experience and academic performance also form the consideration that IIBS takes while selecting its students. Only the shortlisted candidates would be selected for a personal interview and group discussion.
