The best experience to go to a premier B-school with top faculty and high career opportunities.
Placements: All the top companies across industries such as FMCG, IT, consulting, etc., visit the campus for placements. In our batch, almost everyone got placed by the end of the session. I don't remember the exact placement percentage. The lowest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the highest went up to 1 crore per annum. The given MBA programme in ISB has students with different work experiences, so the placements are a combination of previous experience and ISB profile. Companies such as McKinsey, BCG, Pahul, Coke, IBM, Novartis, Walmart, Deloitte, Cargill, Luxottica, Dalberg, etc., visited the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides one of the best campuses and facilities. Many facilities like digital classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled housing facility, pharmacy and clinic, and a grocery shop are available on the campus. We didn't have a library, but we had a learning resource centre that was open till 2 am at night so that students could study. We had a quad housing system where four people shared a flat on the campus, and each person had one room with all the facilities. There were no infrastructure-related issues in the college. There was a recreation centre with a gym, swimming pool, tennis and badminton court, and other sports. A play area is also available if the students have kids.
Faculty: We had international visiting professors from Wharton and Stanford. We had a very exhaustive course curriculum that focused on practical learning with the use of real statistical tools. We had a different professor for each subject. We didn't have internships, but ELPs (Experiential Learning Projects) were given by external organisations, and students had to apply for it. There was no stipend offered. Students at ISB enter with already a minimum of 2 years experience, so an internship is not needed.
Other: There was interaction with renowned celebrities from educational, sports, political and entertainment industries. Big alumni events called Equinox and Solstice were hosted by the batch. Summits such as ISB leadership summit were also conducted.
