Eligibilty Criteria for BMS/ BBA in most of the universities is that a candidate should have passed 12th (10+2) examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC /ST students). Few universities may also have requirement of maths at 10+2 stage. You may refer to exact details on the website of targeted universities.

Xavier's a recognized college in India, if you are talking about St. Xavier's College, if yes I don't see any reason why Xavier's degree won't be recognized.
