When you take admission in a university, the board through which you cleared your 10+2 does not matter. The difference between the two boards is in the difficulty level. If you choose CBSE, the difficulty level is much lesser than that of ICSE. So choose the board on the basis of the pressure you are willing to take.

Hello Jamila, just do not worry. There are plenty of students who do not appear for JEE Mains. Your appearance for CET is good enough. Normally states have set minimum bar atv50% marks for general catagory candidates in 12th for becoming eligible for admission in engineering colleges. Best wishes to you.

Hi, I can understand your apprehension and angst why you are studying in 12th standard. But let me assure you that the marks in the 12th standard are not the criteria for getting admission for BTech in any discipline. For IIT one needs to score minimum 75% off marks in the 12th board. After this the students performance in JEE Mains will enable him to appear for JEE advanced and the performance in JEE advanced would only enable the student to get admission in any one of the IIT's. My sincere advice to you would be not to look for marks in the 12th examination but lay more emphasis on learning the concepts that the teachers will try to teach you of mathematics and physics particularly and in general of all the subjects.
