No, the CISCE board does not require the use of NCERT books for ISC exams. While some ISC students may find NCERT books helpful for understanding concepts or preparing for entrance exams, the ISC curriculum has its own prescribed textbooks and doesn't mandate NCERT books as a requirement.

There is a good chance in getting an admission in B.Tech CSE.The University accepts students based on their performance in 12th with physics, chemistry, mathematics and English and score in JEE MAIN. If you hadn't appeared for JEE there can be Management quota seats.The University also accepts HSTES

Admission to ISC (Indian School Certificate) is for Class 11 and Class 12, not typically based on your 12th score, as ISC itself is a 12th-grade board exam. ISC improvement result 2025 was released on July 31, 2025 on the official website- cisce.org. Students can check their ISC 12th improvement result 2025 using their index number and UID.
They will need to collect their original marksheet from school as the result released online is provisional.
Does ISC use NCERT books?
