Some of the courses, generally PG courses, require entrance exams, like Ph.D requires GATE & UGC NET score, MBA/PGDM course requires MAH CET exam score. The UG admissions are generally merit-based, for example B.Sc., B.A., B. Voc., B.Com. etc. are merit- based. However, admissions to the self-financing courses are based on the online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) and Class 12/HSC exam scores.

The highest package offered by Jai Hind college is INR 6.5 LPA for UG courses in 2021, for PG course it was INR 4 LPA in 2022. However, in 2022 the offer provided to UG course was reduced to INR 3.63 and for PG course, the salary package offered in 2021 was only INR 3.52 LPA which got increased to INR 4 LPA in 2022. The college has not released any brouchure or report on 2023 placements. However, the NIRF report is available of the college's official website.

Jai Hind College, on comparison with VES's College of Arts, Science & Commerce, is better to pursue B.A. According to recent reviews Jai Hind College ( out of 5 ) is given 4.9 for campus and crowd, 4.7 for faculty and 4.6 for value for money, which is far better from VES's College of Arts, Science & Commerce. Also, Jai Hind College is graded "A " by NAAC, which is plus point and should be considered while taking admission. If we take placements into consideration Jai Hind college offered INR 3.63 LPA whereas VES's College of Arts, Science & Commerce only offered INR 2.63 LPA, which makes a huge difference.

According to fee structure for the various courses, Jai Hind College's average fee's course is between INR 23k to 1 Lakh of a single course for 3 years while Kishanchand Chellaram College's fee is between INR 19k to INR 2.9 Lacs, which is more expensive than Jai Hind College.Taking placements in consideration for Jai Hind College, the median salary package offered for a UG course was INR 3.62 LPA and INR 4 LPA for a PG course, for Kishanchand Chellaram College the median salary package offered for a UG Course was INR 2.5 LPA and for INR 5 LPA for a PG course. The only eligbility criteria that has been provided by the college is the candidate who wants to get enrolled should register for admission through their official website and the candidate must have passed standard class 12 from Maharashtra HSC, CBSE, ISC or their equivalent recoginized board. The whole brochure regarding eligibility criteria and required marks is available on the official website of college.
