Placements: I am now in 3rd year. I am doing a diploma in electrical engineering from this college. Till now, there are more than 5 placements that are organised by our college for the electrical department only. About other departments, I think 3 to 4 placements are organised by our college.

Infrastructure: I am doing a diploma in electrical engineering from this college. There are three departments in total. They are electrical engineering (EE), civil engineering (CE), and electronics and communication engineering (ECE). There is no hostel facility available.

Faculty: I am here from 2019. The examinations are organised by the WBSCTE board. But during the time of examination, the security is very hard and the guards in the examination hall are also very strict. Faculty members are very helpful.

Other: This is a government college so the total fees of this college are very low, which makes this college value for money. The facilities are also very good. Mostly 2 or 3 events per year are organised by our college.

Placements: 40 to 45% of students got placed. This is a government college. Tata, Birla, Wipro, etc., companies come here. The top role offered is a supply officer. I love this college.

Infrastructure: The college has new labs, free Wi-Fi, new classrooms and a huge library. But there is no hostel. A canteen, mess, medical facilities, sports and games are available. Table tennis is very special. All types of books are available. All time Wi-Fi service is available. Our principal is a very good person and helpful. I am proud of my college.

Faculty: The faculty members are always good and outstanding. Concepts are easy to understand. Our teachers are very young and friendly.

Other: I want to pursue electrical engineering to learn about machines, transformers, motors and their work.

Placements: Every year 50-70% of the students get a job offer after completing this course. The highest salary package offered is 2.50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. Almost every multinational company visit our college to hire students. About 20-30% of the students from our course got an internship. My one friend got placed in one multinational company.

Infrastructure: I like Jangipur Government Polytechnic College. Our college provides all facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library and lift. Almost 40-50 lab instruments are available in each lab. It also provides a generator, security room and a playground.

Faculty: Teachers in our college always help every student. Lab experiments are conducted timely. They are great. I am highly satisfied with our trade teachers, principal and seniors.

Placements: Jangipur Government Polytechnic College gives its best to students. I'm currently doing my diploma in ECE, and I'm in the 3rd year and am already given multiple internships choices and job offers as well. The salary packages offered are quite standard as of diploma level. It starts from Rs. 7,000 per month and can range up to Rs. 22,000 per month. Companies like Capgemini come to recruit students from Jangipur Government Polytechnic College. Almost 60% of the students got internships in various private companies.

Infrastructure: We've got well-equipped laboratories and workshops and air-conditioned computer labs as well as an air-conditioned seminar hall. Classrooms are open with ample light and fresh air which helps in better concentration for studies. Students are responsible for their food and living. College is not responsible for the mess facilities for the students. But the faculty members help and assures that the students are comfortable and safe.

Faculty: Professors in our college are the best. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They can make students understand a particular subject with ease. They are always ready to clear our doubts and are ready to help. The semester exams are quite standard and the internals too. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because I'm very much interested in electronics. The best thing about this course is IT jobs are available without the pressure of knowing only computer programming languages. This college celebrates fresher's party, annual sports, annual college fest i.e., social as well as teacher's day, and festivals like Saraswati puja and Vishwakarma puja.
