Satisfied with faculty care, good placements, and excellent facilities.
Placements: Most students pursue PG courses after completing the MBBS course. Those not interested in PG courses can work as general medical offices in government hospital. Working as a medical officer also allows them to prepare for the NEET PG exam.
Infrastructure: In our hostels, they provide Wi-Fi, labs for all departments, good classrooms, and a library. Hostel Wi-Fi is available 24/7, and there is an uninterrupted power supply. Hot water is provided for bathing and drinking purpose.
Faculty: All the faculty members are qualified, and their teaching quality is commendable. With a smaller student body, teachers can focus on each individual. The curriculum provides immediate practical knowledge. Semester exams are somewhat challenging and based on practical knowledge.
Other: I chose the MBBS course to serve people as a doctor. Seniors organize various events and fests like Onam, Diwali, etc.

Absolutely satisfied with this college perfect choice.
Placements: All seats in our college are completely filled and our batch is a really good batch. There are people from all states of India and almost 100 percent of our students got internships. Students who study in JIPMER can get easily hired anywhere in the future.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available. The classroom is excellent with digital screens. Library is quiet and has all books available to study. Almost all sport equipment’s are available though sports ground construction is not completed yet. The mess food is not good here please arrange food from somewhere else.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable when compared to JIPMER Pondicherry staffs. The semester exams are really tough in JIPMER KARAIKAL , their question paper standard is perfect. A minimum of 50 percent marks are required to pass. Our students are so skilled because we grow under tough conditions.
Other: MBBS is a bit stressful course but you will enjoy it along with your batchmates.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2027

This college is average if you are a study person.
Placements: I am studying MBBS which is a very interesting course. We don't have placements as we do internships and leave out of the college but during the internship, they pay us stipend of approximately Rs.25000 - Rs.30000 per month which is a good amount for interns. The college is very good.
Infrastructure: We don't have superb facilities as our college is still under construction. We have a Wi-Fi facility around the campus but we don't have a ground to play. We don't have a separate hospital it is a shame for a central university like JIPMER. The food served is below average. At night, only tiffin is served and rice is not provided.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are very good in our college. They are well qualified and graduated. Exams are held in a good manner where there is no chance of copying. Labs are very good and going on well. The hospital is not yet ready. It nearly takes 3-4 years for the construction of the hospital.
Other: We need to have more events and grounds for sports. Extracurricular activities are very less in this college. It needs to be changed.

Other: JIPMER is one of the top ranked medical colleges of India. The infrastructure is state-of-the-art with the latest smart classrooms and a hostel facility which is Wi-Fi enabled. The campus is clean and green and does indeed make you feel at home. The faculty members are top-notch and include the best in the country in their respective fields. And guess what, it all free for the patients most of whom belong to the below poverty line. Everything from basic drugs to laboratory investigations, ultrasound scans, MRI, the too complicated cancer chemotherapy, it is all free for the poor. The annual intercollegiate festival, SPANDAN is a mega event with thousands of students participating not to mention the various pro shows. All in all, if you want to do medicine, JIPMER is indeed one of the very best in the country.

"Best university through NEET UG, offering the best study exposure, clinical knowledge, and faculty
Placements: Stipend in internship - 30k Maximum among all other medical colleges in India (including AIIMS). Good environment for preparing for NEET PG/INICET/NEXT exam. Also, JIPMER conducts various workshops, conferences, and research programs from which students can benefit.
Infrastructure: We have smart classrooms with AC, 5G Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, more than enough microscopes, machines, facilities, etc. The library is equipped with all standard and regional books from all authors. E-library facility is also there. There are cricket and football grounds, a TT hall, and a badminton court.
Faculty: All faculty members are highly qualified and experienced; all are specialist doctors from renowned medical institutes from all over India. All are very interactive and helpful. All topics for every subject are adequately covered by them. The pass percentage is 90-100%.
Other: MBBS from JIPMER is itself a proud tag throughout your life. You will get a chance to learn from one of the best teachers in an amazing environment as students come from all over the country.
