The faculty at Mumbai's Jitendra Chauhan College of Law (JCCL) is renowned for their expertise and caliber. Some of the instructors have degrees from UK universities, and many have extensive experience in legal practice. The faculty, under the direction of Dr. Priya J. Shah, is commended for combining theory and practice, particularly in moot court instruction. Their knowledge and approachability are rated highly (4-5/5) by students, while the small faculty number (7 for 602 students) may limit individualized attention. All things considered, they provide a substantial contribution to JCCL's legal education.

According to reviews, the cuisine at the local PG mess facilities is mediocre to satisfactory and frequently consists of simple Indian dishes like rice, dal, and veggies. Because of its renown and the limited number of 240 seats JCCL's 3-year LL.B. programme has a tough admissions process. Candidates must have a good MH CET Law score and a Bachelor degree with 45% (or 40% for SC/ST). With previous years cutoffs for General AI at 107 in 2023 and 103 in 2022 the 2024 cutoff was 97.22 suggesting a high threshold. Top scores (94.8–97.22 for General) are required due to the additional rigor of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) and counseling. It is essential to prepare for the 150-question MH CET Law test which covers legal aptitude, general knowledge, reasoning and English.
