Balanced campus with good placements and supportive faculty.
Placements: Placements at JIET for B.Teach CSE are generally good. Many companies visit the campus for campus recruitment, including TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and some product-based companies. Average packages are around 4-5 LPA, with some students getting higher, 8-12 LPA, in good companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well developed. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped computer labs with updated systems and internet. The library has a good collection of technical books. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, a green campus, and sports facilities are available. We have decent hostel facilities with furnished rooms.
Faculty: Faculty members are approachable and supportive. Professors are knowledgeable and supportive. Many have industry and research exposure. Extra training for competitive coding and emerging tech (AI, ML, and web dev) is also provided. Exams are moderate if you prepare regularly.
Other: The campus environment is disciplined and motivating.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2027
4.4
4Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Supportive faculty, good placements, and active campus life.
Placements: The B.Tech in AI & ML, with the passing out batch of 2027, has shown strong placement outcomes. 80 to 85% of students have been placed,
The highest package offered is 18 to 20 LPA, the average package offered is 6 to 7LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 to 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, and Capgemini. 70 to 75% students also got AI startups internships, with Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, and startups in Healthcare, FinTech, EdTech. Top Roles offered are ML Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Engineer, SDE, Data Analyst, NLP Engineer, CV Engineer, and AI Research Intern.
Infrastructure: The AI & ML department has Wi-Fi-enabled, smart classrooms, dedicated AI/ML labs with high performance systems, and a well stocked library with online resources, IEEE, Springer, NPTEL, etc. Hostels are clean and Wi-Fi enabled, with decent living space. The mess provides hygienic and nutritious food, while the canteen offers snacks and fast food. The campus has a health center with medical staff and tie ups with a nearby hospital. Sports facilities include grounds, courts, a gym, and indoor games, ensuring overall development.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Most faculty members provide good guidance for both academic and practical learning. The curriculum is industry oriented, covering core AI/ML, Data Science, Programming, and Emerging Technologies. It includes projects, internships, and skill based learning to make students industry ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with regular study and attendance, students can perform well. The pass percentage remains high around 85 to 90%, as exams test understanding more than wrote learning.
Other: I am from the B.Tech AI & ML batch of 2027. I chose this course because of its future scope and industry demand. The best part is the practical, industry oriented curriculum. However, more live projects and industry tie-ups would improve it. The campus has a good crowd, fests, sports, and extracurricular activities, along with scholarships and a supportive environment.

This college is good and located in Jodhpur.
Placements: Highest package in my college is 33 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Capgemini, and Infosys recruit students. 70 to 80% of students intern at companies such as Tech Mahindra, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini. The top roles offered in my course are software developer, web developer, business analyst, software tester, system engineer, and trainee engineer.
Infrastructure: My department has a library, Wi-Fi connections, clean washrooms, and good labs, but not all lecture theaters have air conditioning. The hostels are good, and the food quality is average. The food quality in the canteen is very good. Medical facilities are good because my college also has a hospital, and it's good for both games and sports students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum in my college is mostly aligned with the core FOC, and many of the subjects, such as DSA, DBMS, OS, and Computer Networks, are essential for the tech industry. There is no difficulty in the semester exams at the college. The pass percentage in my college is 83%.
Other: My course is the best in the tech industry. There is a lot to learn in this course, like web development and software development. In my college, events like dance, games, and traditional dance are held almost every Saturday. The campus crowd is average, and the scholarship is approximately 50%.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.6
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Solid infrastructure and campus life, decent placements, but civil needs more industry exposure.
Placements: Key roles are software and junior engineering. Overall, JIET offers a strong and comprehensive environment to students for learning and gaining knowledge. Sometimes students also get the opportunity to visit IIT and NIT and make students to enjoy their life.
Infrastructure: Our college has 24X7 high-speed Wi-Fi, labs, and specialized labs. We have one main big central library along with 8 departmental libraries. Boys and girls have separate hostels. Rooms include almirahs, fans, and lights. You can get AC facilities also along with balcony. We have proper security. It also offers cafeteria and has pure veg mess. Gym and sports are also available.
Faculty: Teachers have helping nature and are good qualified like M.Tech and Ph.D. courses. Core branches faculty members are amazing like civil and mechanical. Semester exams are moderately difficult but can be scored good with regular studies. Pass percentage is 80 to 90% with strong internal support for weak students.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in B.Tech. I prefer that civil is the backbone of all branches. Our college should improve by providing more industrial visits, software training in StaadPro and AutoCAD. It also provides advanced lab equipment. Events and fests are good but there are only 5-6 fests.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

JIET: Life as an engineer.
Placements: College placements are quite good as many top companies like Amazon, Infosys, Google, etc., come to JIET to conduct interviews, etc. Students who perform well get good opportunities. The placement criteria are good. The highest package is 33 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Many students got internships in B.Tech and in many top companies as well.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good both in the department and hostel. Wi-Fi is available 24 hours and labs are equipped with the latest tech. Classrooms and the library are comfortable and have a quiet environment to study in. The food in the mess is acceptable to eat but not extraordinarily the best. JIET has its own hospital there. Medical facilities are the best for students as well as their parents. It provides both indoor as well as outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified with many degrees. They are also very knowledgeable and teach students in their own manner. Every teacher has their own way of connecting to students so that students can learn in an environment that is very good. The course curriculum is relevant towards the industry level and teaches more than that and it makes students ready to tackle anything in the industry. Semester exams are easy for those who study and difficult for those who do not study. The pass percentage is 40%.

I suggest everyone not to take admission in this college.
Placements: Campus placements are very rare and not guaranteed in this college. We often get emails from our college saying that a student got placed in a certain company, but none of the placements offer a salary higher than 4 LPA, even though students are eligible for higher amounts but do not receive them. Most students remain unemployed because the placement cell is not effective, however, some students get high-salary placements through off-campus jobs.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are below average because classrooms are not properly maintained, and in some classrooms, honeybees often attack through the windows. There are no ACs in the classrooms, making it very difficult to stay in class during summer. Talking about hostels, they are also not well maintained and not properly cleaned.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very good, kind, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but some have bad behavior towards students; however, the course curriculum is relevant and helpful in making students ready for industry qualification.
Other: I chose this course because from childhood I wanted to become a software engineer, and I am very interested in computer applications and programming languages. There is no wish for improvement in my course.
