Beautiful campus hosting a lot of events, good faculty, and nice patient load.
Placements: As this is a medical course, graduation students either go for higher education or open their own clinics. Hospitals do not come for placements. An internship is a part of the course and is unpaid but as the patient load is quite good, you get to learn a lot of procedures.
Infrastructure: An extremely beautiful campus is there. Lush green and very clear too. Wi-Fi and AC are available in lecture halls and there is an AC library with a huge collection of books. Comfortable hostels and good food in the mess. 3 canteens with very good food and hygienic too. Dental labs are available, which are clean and spacious. The hospital is also well maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable in their respective fields but as this course has a huge syllabus, no one is going to spoon-feed you; they will help you if you are not able to understand something. The curriculum is according to the Dental Council of India. 3 exams in a year and the pass percentage is around 90%.

Really good infrastructure and facilities with good hospital as well.
Placements: When I got admission, 100 students were there with me. The placement in the medical field is worth less because, in the medical dental field, no one can do a job for more than 2 years. This is a clinic-based programme. And in college, no such placement is there. All passout dentists can practice in any private hospital for a very decent salary.
Infrastructure: The best dental college in Gujarat has such a well-known infrastructure. The campus is full of clean, big grounds as well as separate indoor play grounds. The classroom is fully equipped with a projector and AC. The library is the best because all required textbooks, reference book and journals are available, so there is no need to buy a new one. Hostels are also available on campus. Medical staff is available in clinics all the time.
Faculty: The faculty of the KSD is well known and experienced in their field, and all HODs and staff members are humble. especially the prosthodontics department. In 2022, the latest curriculum came so after that, the results of the batch improved. The exam has become more tough and viva and weekly tests have become routine.
Other: KSD is more famous for its cultural and DJ nights too. But college just taught us about the basics; the rest of us struggled after college. When you came into the market, the dental competition was very huge.

The elegance and inelegance of Karnavati School of Dentistry.
Placements: Karnavati School of Dentistry does not provide placements for dental students. The college offers an unpaid internship where students work as junior doctors and assistants, but it does not guarantee job security for dentists, as job opportunities in the field are limited. Most dental students choose to open their own clinics. However, there is a high chance for graduates from Karnavati University to join the university as assistant professors.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure here is of a high standard. We have various labs for undergraduate preclinical work and dental clinics with more than 30 chairs per department. Students are provided with personal lockers for their equipment, which is essential for dental students. The university has three college canteens, and the food is the best I have ever had in any college. I have never tasted such good food in a college setting. The hostel students have access to a mini clinic, where an MBBS doctor and a gynecologist are available for any emergencies or medical treatment required for women.
Faculty: Teachers here are all friendly in nature, and I personally share a strong bond with my faculty members. They are more like friends, but they maintain strict discipline in the clinic, which is for our own benefit. All faculty members here hold MS degrees and PhDs in their respective fields. There are a total of three exams per academic year, a mid-semester exam, a preliminary exam, and the main university exam. The patient flow in the college is good, and in the third year, we perform composite restorations every day. The preliminary exam is the toughest to crack, while the main exam is comparatively less challenging.
Other: The annual fee we pay is Rs. 3,60,000, while our juniors pay over Rs. 4,00,000 per year, which is significantly high. Additionally, the university demands an extra Rs. 5,000 as an activity fee for all events occurring in the college. This fee is compulsory for every student, even if they do not wish to attend any events, which feels unfair. Moreover, the university does not allow students to sit for exams if they have not paid the activity fee. They also charge a late fine of Rs. 150 to Rs. 200 per day, which is not easily affordable for middle-class students.

Review of Karnavati School of Dentistry, Karnavati University.
Placements: In the field of dentistry or any other medical streams, mostly there was no concept of campus placements. Also as it was a private university there were not any chances for paid internships by this college. The campus packages were just myths for medical stream colleges.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were decent to generate enough good atmosphere for learning. Dental laboratories were in excellent condition with working dental chairs. Although patients were to be arranged by students themselves, that was a bit of a struggle. Hostels were good according to the fee of this course. The same can not be stated about canteen and food though.
Faculty: The academics and faculty members were excellent without any doubt. Faculty members aimed to make students learn not just teach. The BDS course curriculum was not based on practical usages, though it was helpful for future purposes. Semester exams were moderate, the passing percentage might be low if students did not take it seriously.
Other: After the MBBS, BDS was the most reputed course considered according to talks in the town. The best thing according to me was minimal work with lesser risk to patients, still good for earnings. More practical illustrations would be good, if possible in the curriculum. Events and fests were high due to the reputation of Ahmedabad.

This is the college of your dreams.
Placements: Placements are really good in our college for all the streams. When I took admission here, this college was affiliated to Gujarat University. Placements were too high. College provides all the possible facilities to the students to score high. You won't regret studying here.
Infrastructure: Anybody who enters the college easily get fascinated by the infrastructure of the college. Classrooms have enough space along with air-conditioners. Hostels are also provided with AC if students want it, but they charge for it. Food available here is good. You can have all varieties of food here.
Faculty: All the teachers in the college are highly qualified. They have done masters in their streams and teach us like a pro. Nobody can complain about them if they really concentrate in the class. Another famous thing here we get is the level of practice, and it is very different and innovative from other colleges.
Other: You can get all the hype you want to create from this college. Be it any festival or just the college fest, it is the best. The entire Ahmedabad is the fan of Garba night held in Karnavati University every year.
