Lucknow Institute of Technology does not ensure 100% placement for all its students. Nevertheless, Lucknow Institute of Technology can boast of an excellent placement record since almost 70-90% students are getting placements, more particularly in B.Tech courses. The placement cell encourages top recruitment agencies such as TCS, Wipro, and Infosys, through which it guides the student to face the interview rounds and the internship. Although the Institute of Management Technology, short courses like MBA ensured 100% placements result, placement percentages by programme and student performance is an exception. Thus while support from the institute can be very robust, universal guarantees for all students would be a lie.

Lucknow Institute of Technology, or LIT, has a moderate cost structure and charges between INR 1.78 Lacs and INR 2.4 Lacs for the complete B.Tech course, while the MBA charges around INR 1 lakh. Though fees are relatively cheaper compared to many private colleges, these are still not small enough for some students. Considering the quality of education provided here, LIT is reasonable for most engineers and management professionals.

Admissions into Lucknow Institute of Technology, or LIT for short, are comparatively less problematic than some of its competitors, but then will depend greatly on the course for admission and the overall academic profile of the applicant. Most commonly, B.Tech requirements will demand a student pass his or her 10+2 with minimum aggregate marks of 50 percent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Common entrance test scores or other merits work as the key eligibility criterion for admission to many programs. For MBA, a valid score in management entrance exams like UPSEE MBA or CAT is required. The competition level for admission is not very high as that of top-tier institutions; however, the eligibility criteria need to be met to secure a seat.

Yes, in some circumstances the Lucknow Institute of Technology (LIT) will offer direct admission. If we are talking about B.Tech. courses, high school graduates with the compulsory subjects may use management quota seats, whereupon direct admission will be the case, with no need for the entrance exam to take place. Winning entrance exam admissions through relatives remains the main criterion but other ways include the meeting of the minimum pass mark of an examination. As for Master's programs (such as M.Tech and MBA), direct admissions are also considered on the basis of merit or management quota. LIT official website and the admissions office are to be contacted for detailed information and the processes involved.
