Basic Requirements: You must possess a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3 pattern of education) from a recognised university.The minimum percentage of marks required in your Bachelor's degree can vary depending on your background:General Stream: Candidates from most disciplines in the Arts and Social Sciences stream typically require a minimum of 50% marks in their Bachelor's degree.Science & Technology Background: If you come from a Science & Technology background, the minimum marks requirement might be higher, around 55%. 

The BTech fee structure of the programme is INR 1.1 lakh- 4 Lacs for the four-year programme. MG University offers BTech specilisation in Polymer Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, CSE, Naval Architecture, Cyber Security, and others. The fee structure does not inculde the hostel and mess fees. 

This is a programme leading to the Bachelors Degree in Education. The programme extends for a period of two years/ four semesters. The course of study shall be by regular attendance for the requisite number of lectures and practical training as per Mahatma Gandhi University Regulations for the B Ed programmes.Candidates who have passed any graduate level degree examination which is recognised by Mahatma Gandhi University with 50 % aggregate marks or equivalent grade (CGPA of 2/CCPA of 5) are eligible for admission.Candidates who have passed Degree examination with Double/Triple main are eligible for admission to B Ed in any of thesubjects they have studied as their Core/main. However, they have to submit copy of the Equivalency/Eligibility Certificate and Programme wise Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University, stating that, their Qualifying Examination isrecognized for seeking admission to the relevant B Ed Degree Course (s) as applicable, at the time of admission. Thisprovision is not applicable in the case of those applicants who have passed their qualifying examination from MGUniversity. 

Ragging in any form is a cognizable offence and is banned in MG University, Roorkee. The college premises has strict laws against the student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, among others.

The university is currently releasing seat allotment list for courses in which admission is through CAP. Second allotment list was released on Jun 2025. MGU Kerala admit candidates to the BCom and BCom (H) programme on a merit-basis.
