Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training is a new specialised navy academy established in 2018 by MIT ADT University in association with the Indian Navy. While it does not rank among top colleges presently, it has approvals from DG Shipping and AICTE. Its parent MIT ADT University also has low rankings currently. However, the focused naval training and connections with the Navy provide good credibility and prospects. The BTech Marine Engineering programme is the flagship course.
