Hello Nishar Ahmed, Masters' Union is an institution which is totally private and was established keeping in mind the requirements of industry and how it was not being met by the business schools formally established in India. This institution has not sought any recognition from either AICTE or UGC and hence this Institute issues only a certificate of having completed this course. Theoretically the institution gives admissions to MBA course which is officially called by them as PGP TBM even to those students who have not even passed their graduation examination. This institution does not give admission to this 16 months duration course based on any score obtained in the nationally held examinations like GMAT or MAT or GRE or CAT etc. a student seeking admission has to upload his career graph including co curricular activities while registering for admission and then each and every such student who has registered has to appear for an entrance exam conducted by this Institute called MUBAAT which is compulsory. Admissions advisory Committee then takes a call on shortlisting of candidates based on their performance in this examination and the series that students have uploaded. Shortlisted candidates are then put through another rounds of interview group discussion, essay, analysis of essay, video essays etc. before the final list is made and those students are intimated about offering the seat in this course. Large number students appear for this but as the intake capacity is kept limited at 60 many students do not get admission who are the advice to apply again the next year. Does as you can see MAT score is not important at all while determining the eligibility of admission of a student in this Institute.Best wishes to you.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Masters Union is a private Institute which is not affiliated to any university but is offering 16 months PGP TBM which others are colloquially calling as MBA. The institute gives admission even to those who have not done their graduation. This Institute being not recognised by either AICTE or UGC, there is no official intake capacity which institute has to follow as per the government norms. However this institution maintains that to keep in mind the ratio of mentor and the students and also keeping in mind the holistic development of the students they try to keep this class at about 60. Though they can either reduce on increase this number at any given time as there is no necessity to approach government for approval of increase in intake capacity. I hope I have made clear the difference between an institution that is recognised by UGC or AICTE and the intake capacity that is authorised by either of these organisations and their differences with the Masters' Union. Best wishes to you

No, you cannot get into Masters' Union School of Business with 70% in class 12th. The latest admission cutoff for the MBA programme at Masters' Union School of Business is 70% in the general category. While 70% is a good score in class 12th, Masters' Union School of Business is a highly selective institution. Admissions to the school are highly competitive, and the average class 12th score required is not specified, but the cutoff is 70%. Therefore, having 70% in class 12th may not meet the admission requirements for this institution.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Masters' Union as well as SOIL Institute of Management both are private institutes giving a training in what is called as post graduate programme of Management. Both institutes are considered as quite good but as one can expect they are prose and cons of each of these institutes. Soil admits as many as 480 students every year in different streams while the capacity of the Masters' Union is pegged at just about 60. Soil was established reback in 2008 whereas Masters was established as recently as in the year 2020. There is also a huge difference of fees to be paid. Soil charges just about rupees 15 lacs per year as fees while Masters Union charges almost 35 lacs as fees. Both these institutions claim almost 100% placements including internship during the course. This it's quite difficult to differentiate between the two and both can be considered as equally good for seeking admission. Best wishes to you.

Yes, you can get into Masters' Union School of Business without CAT. According to their website, the PGP Rise programme does not require GMAT, GRE, or CAT scores. However, the selection process depends on the academic profile, work experience, and scores in CAT/GMAT/GRE/MU-BAAT for the PGP TBM program. There is no age limit for entry, but the programme is more suitable for candidates with at least 5 years of work experience.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Masters' Union at Gurugram is a very specialised Institute which is not affiliated to any university and also does not follow any standard procedure for giving admissions to students. They do not give any value for the nationally held entrance examinations for MBA but conduct their own examination called MUBAAT. The institutions prospectus itself states that the prospective student need not go to any coaching class for preparation to crack this entrance exam since every year this will be in a different format and there will be no set pattern and hands no agency will be actually able to teach how to crack this. In addition to this the admission is not based on the marks obtained in this exam alone but it is based on the performance of students in the interview in the group discussion in the work experience of the student and also the ability of student to write essays and analyse essays as well. This institution claims this as a "holistic approach" to admission. Hence there is no cut off for anything while seeking admission in this Institute. Best wishes to you.

Hello Nishar Ahmed, it is very difficult to determine what is the minimum cut off for getting admission in this Institute. This is so because the criteria for giving admission include lots and lots of things and not only the entrance exam that this Institute conducts. Through various rounds of admission process students are shortlisted to the next round and then to the next round. But here also the students are not intimated about the marking which the institute must be doing internally to select the candidates on various parameters for admission. The students are informed that they have either not been shortlisted for the next round of admission and hence they can reappear the next year or they have been shortlisted and then this is what is going to happen in the next round of the admission process. Even after the final round of admission process the successful candidates are informed that the institution is offering them a seed and they should pay the requisite fees to confirm their seat. Some students are kept in the waiting list but this waiting list is also not a merit listed waiting list. Depending on the student who decides to forgo the admission a student from the waiting list who is equivalent to this student is then asked to pay the fees and take the seat. The only saving Grace in this is that the institute informs on website that those student who have not been called to the next round after the entrance test may not appear next year again, if there is no substantial change in their CV in this intervening period. Best wishes to you

Hello Nishar Ahmed, Masters Union has a very unique system of giving admissions. It charges a hefty sum as registration fees for students who want to take admission but of course this is adjusted in the tuition fees subsequently. It perhaps does not believe in any of the standard National held entrance exams for business schools like GMAT or CAT et cetera. It claims that it's admission process is looking at the "holistic approach" about a students journey till the time and not mearly at the numbers the student may have obtained in any exam. This institution insists that each and every person who seeks admission has to appear for an entrance exam which they conduct themselves called MUBAAT. Result of this exam plays a pivotal role in selection of the student for the course. But it's not nearly the performance in this exam that can get the student of a letter from this institute for admission but many more things like writing on essay and also to video essays to be submitted to the assessment team. This team then short lists the students and calls them for another round of interview, before finally offering a seat in this prestigious Institute. Thus we can see that merey scoring good marks in the entrance exam is not enough to get admission in this institution. Best wishes to you

Hello Nishar Ahmed, no student cannot join the Masters' Union directly. I will explain in short subsequently how the admission process takes place. Every student first has to upload his CV or career graph along with co-curricular activities etc. either by following a sample CV available on the website of this Institute or a student can make his own. After having done this and after having paid the registration fee this Institute conducts written test for each and every student on the Sunday after the close of registration date. This examination is called MUBAAT. The institution's admission committee then goes through the response of the students to this test and also the CV which they have uploaded at the time of registration and then shortlists the students. These students are then called for the next round in which they conduct interview, group discussion, essay writing including video essays and then analysis of essays etc. based on this the institute makes a probable list of 60 candidates and then they are offered admission which a student has to take by paying the requisite fees. Some candidates are kept in the reserve but there is no merit list. If any student from the main list does not take admission for any reason then a student who is equivalent to this drop out is called up and offered the seat for admission. This is how the complete admission process is completed and then the 16 months of the course begins. Best wishes to you.
