NID Vijayawada UG Courses 2025

The National Institute of Design, Andhra Pradesh (NID AP) established in September 2015, is the second autonomous multi-disciplinary design institute, under the DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

NID Andhra Pradesh currently offers full-time four year Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programme in Communication Design (CD) Industrial Design (ID) and Textile & Apparel Design (TAD).

To get admission to NID, you must have appeared for the NID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) conducted by NID.

There is no scholarship schemes for the UG students in NID AP.

So, every course is best. The institution offers 90% placement record. As per the reaserch I did on internet, I come to know that the average package is 15 lakhs.

I would recommend to do detailed analysis of the Courses and then go for it.

The application form for NID DAT 2025 has to be filled online. There is no way to fill the form in any other way. The application link is provided on the official admission portal of NIFT; alternately, the candidate could visit this page to fill the application form. The application fee for NID that will also have to be paid online using online payment gateway. Note that the National Institute of Design (NID) will invite NID that applications for admission to the B. Des and M.Des courses. Currently, there are 425 seats for the B. Des programme, while the M.Des programme has an intake of 347 seats.

The Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme is offered by two prestigious institutes, NID Assam and NID Vijayawada, each one having its special advantages. Which mainly related to the individual interest.

NID Assam is the newest member of the National Institute of Design family, having been founded in 2019. Its offers exposure to Northeast India's rich traditions and a dynamic cultural environment. Design Specialisation: NID Vijayawada provides specialised programmes in industrial design, textile and garment design, and communication design if these fields clearly appeal to you. The scope of NID Assam is wider, covering a range of design specialties.

Student Culture: To gain a sense of each institute's student culture and atmosphere, visit the campuses, speak with current students, and attend events.

If the individual is interested in industrial design then NID Vijayawada is the best option, and if the individual is interested in the broader form of cultural design then the NID Assam is the best option.
