NID Vijayawada UG Courses 2025

The National Institute of Design, Andhra Pradesh (NID AP) established in September 2015, is the second autonomous multi-disciplinary design institute, under the DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

It currently offers full-time four year Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programme in Communication Design (CD), Industrial Design (ID) and Textile & Apparel Design (TAD).

So, every course is best. The institution offers 90% placement record. As per the reaserch I did on internet, I come to know that the average package is 15 lakhs.

I would recommend to do detailed analysis of the Courses and then go for it.

NID Vijayawada, NID Cutoff 2023

The application form for NID DAT 2025 has to be filled online. There is no way to fill the form in any other way. The application link is provided on the official admission portal of NIFT; alternately, the candidate could visit this page to fill the application form. The application fee for NID that will also have to be paid online using online payment gateway. Note that the National Institute of Design (NID) will invite NID that applications for admission to the B. Des and M.Des courses. Currently, there are 425 seats for the B. Des programme, while the M.Des programme has an intake of 347 seats.

Students studying communication design graduate with the abilities and know-how necessary to develop persuasive communication strategies for print, digital, and experiential media.

Students studying industrial design are equipped to create systems, goods, and services that are aesthetically beautiful and functional.

The field of textile and apparel design is concerned with the creative and sustainable design of garments, accessories, and fabrics.

While filling out the NID application form, candidates have to enter their personal, academic, and personal information. They are also required to upload a photograph and signature, and caste Certificate if applicable. In case of candidates seeking admission under reserved categories, they also need to upload a category Certificate. PwD category candidates will also have to upload the relevant Certificate.

The category and PwD certificates should be in PDF format and max 2 MB.

Meanwhile, the photograph and signature should in JPG/JPEG format and within 75-100 KB.

Within the GATE complex, there is a Boy's Hostel, a Girl's Hostel, and an adjacent Mess facility. There are 208 rooms available in the hostel, which can house up to 292 students.  There are amenities like a doctor on call, a car for any medical emergency, a dining facility that accommodates the cultural variety of India, and a common area with utilitarian and recreational equipment in addition to the residential quarters and GATE site. Wide, lush grounds surrounded the school to provide a better setting for students' personal growth.

The Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme is offered by two prestigious institutes, NID Assam and NID Vijayawada, each one having its special advantages. Which mainly related to the individual interest.

NID Assam is the newest member of the National Institute of Design family, having been founded in 2019. Its offers exposure to Northeast India's rich traditions and a dynamic cultural environment. If the individual is interested in industrial design then NID Vijayawada is the best option, and if the individual is interested in the broader form of cultural design then the NID Assam is the best option.
